Truth Be Told, followed very closely though by The Telling and Phase One. I am a little surprised to see In Dreams... here as well.

In Dreams won every single one of its matches by 1. 3-2, 3-2, and 2-1. It didnt play anything amazing, mainly due to "Before The Flood", "Truth Be Told" and episodes ranked above 14+ making it so far. Had it not been for those upsets, it would have played Phase One / Telling before the finals.
I think In Dreams beat The Decent, The Box: Part 2, and something ranked like 18 (Getaway maybe?)

How did you get the initial rankings? The top rated episodes on tv.com? Anyway, In Dreams ain't that bad, its just the ultimate dark horse in the finals for the best Alias episode EVER. The other 3 are indeed the top 3 IMO.

I watched, rated, and number ranked every Alias episode in order. I seeded numbers 1-10 as my favorites, then went to tv.com and did 11-32 that way.

I chose "The Telling". That episode just had it all. (Let's not talk about the resolution :-S )
I dind't realy like phase one, because they destroyed sd-6... Didn't realy like that idea...

Wow "The Telling" passed "Phase One".
I love them both and all, I just felt Phase One was the best written episode wereas Telling had a powerhouse 10 final minutes to close the season out.

I seriously do believe that The Telling and Phase One are the 2 finest episodes of TV. If I really had to choose between them, I'd say Phase One was a little better. But I do understand why people prefer The Telling.
Well, first of all, both were true gamechangers. Phase One ended SD 6 and the allience, basically a 34 episode arc. The Telling topped that off by simply rebooting the show(Vaughn married, Dixon cia director, Jack locked up, etc), and taking it into a diff direction(search for the past).
Secondly... after I watched Phase One, apart from the "WTF" last minute, I really couldn't highlight a scene that made the episode what it is. It was perfectly put together, everything was in the right place, every single moment was crucial.
While, The Telling was a bit more "old fashioned" . It is so good because of certain scenes and moments. Irina telling Sydney about the prophecy, then jumps. Jack captured by Sloane, and The Telling is built. Will realizing who's the double. The big fight(and the ending).

I wasn't ever planning on closing this thread for whoever asked. Its the final four, the best of the best, I figured that people can come in and vote whenever they want. In my mind, all the other threads should be closed, but I'm not the mod.

Having just finished watching all 5 seasons yet again, I do think these 4 episodes really deserve to be here. I know when I initially posted I was sceptical of 'In Dreams' being here, but now I think it deserves it. Mind you I could fill my own personal Top 4 many times over
