Man, if you rated Bioinc Woman 10.0, you'll rate alias 35.0. This is my favorite show, it's one of the most intriguing, gripping, tightly written, emotion, actionjammed TV masterpiece the sun will ever lit.

Seriously, the first disc of Season 1 will have you ADDICTED. If you're not hooked by Episode 1, then Episode 2 will definitely get you. I have never been so addicted to a show before. I wish it had gotten at least one more full season.

As long as you don't mind minor flaws (several impossible things have happened in the show--sucking air outta a car tire for one, and they play very very fast with time) in a show, its an awesome drama. I'm about halfway threw the 5th disc in season 1 and it hasn't disappointed yet. It's 30% pure drama, 50% spy, 10% science-fiction, and the rest of it is all the other elements of a show (ie comedic relief).

If you've watched anything by JJ before (Lost specifically) you'll see similarities in the style, and some very talented audience misdirects... I don't remember which episode it was but somewhere early in season 1 they had totally thrown me off but the info they revealed was still 100% believable

its fantastic, season 4 is slightly weak (but) season 5 more than makes up for it! i personally think the ending of the show was brilliant

I felt the first two seasons were the strongest, while season three saw it starting to wane and the last two seasons were quite disappointing...

    I thought S3 was just as strong as S1 & S2.

I felt that all 5 seasons were great in their way. If you do start watching the show, you WILL get sucked in by the pilot episode, if nothing else

I also came in late. I rented season one and two at Netflix. I loved it so much that I bought the rest. If you like espionage shows, with tons of twists and turns and pleanty of cliffhangers then you will love Alias.

It's definitely worth checking out. I'd have to agree with whoever said season four and five were a bit of a disappointment, but that is only in comparison to the amazing first few seasons.

So, yes, I'd definitely recommend you check it out.
