The best villian in the series is/was...

    Sark.  More than anything, I'm going to miss how badass he truly was.  Sure would give up details on the people he was working with to save himself, but as he said, he had a knack for preservation.

    I'm hoping to see him reprise this kind of a role elsewhere now that it's obvious it won't be on Alias.

    Yes, I agree: he 's the best villain(,and then Lauren). He ' s so young and has so much responsibilities; he is so determined. In a way I admire him. He 's so strong and smart! He' s evil and has an angel face; I love the contrast. I hope this idea of spin-off is true.

    Gabrielle I like you more and more by the day (don't be too alarmed!) - finally: someone else who loved Lauren!

    I'd go as far as to call HER the best bad guy, then Peyton.

    Yay!!! I love Lauren too! I hesitated putting her the best villian cos I really love Sark too. I think Lauren is really smart, beautiful, and strong. She reminds me the woman who seduces the man and who' s never  what she seems in the old movies of the 1950' s - especially when she has her hair a little curly.

    I don' t know Peyton, I guess he ' s in the fifth season. I haven' t seen it yet. I' ll have to wait october or november for French TV to broadcast it.

    Yeah id be tempted to put Lauren number 1, mainly cos shes Australian . I also enjoyed Sloane as a baddy more than a goodie, and Sark just rocked.

    I don't think Peyton was that much of a villian. She was bad, yes, but not a villian.

    Hiya!

    No, Elodie Bouchez plays another character that season called Renee, who I think is great! Peyton is played by Amy Acker, who also plays Fred/Illyria on Angel.

    Maybe in the begining but even then, i've always considered her a bad person but no-villian, what about gordon dean or profit 5 for season 5 villians. Compare to sloane, Sark or irina i think she doesn't classify as the villain of season 5.

    Gordon Dean was a effin pansy. Peyton could take his ass down before he could even raise a fist.

    Here's one you maybe didn't see coming... NADIA! When she was a zombie! I found it quite horrifying for her to become so animalistic, with just enough human persona left to make her remain fairly Nadia-esque, but of course it was this demonising quality that made her so unlike any other badguy! She was great - I also loved the way Syd seemed so frightened by her, and how desperate she was not to fight her.

    So my list goes:
    1. Irina
    2. Lauren
    3. Peyton
    4. Anna
    5. Nadia

    I will not include Sloane because he's been too foggy in terms of his alliances for too long, spending over two seasons as a supposed good-guy... Sark neither because I never really thought that much of him until his FANTASTIC end performance in the series finale!

    Come on! How could anyone think that Peyton was the best villain? She was a puppet and we were given no idea as to what she wanted...
