haha this series is so ridiculous.. it borders on being a parody.

the whole thing with sydney having her own memory erased was one of the dumbest things i've seen in a while - sydney while i like her the writers make her into a bumbling fool most of the time.. uhhh she could of just destroyed the stupid cube and her reasoning made no sense "nothing's safe, anything can be taken, etc, etc" no crap you are in the spy business.. the last thing you do is erase your own memory and then go on a hunt to remember what you erased... instead you destroy the item and be done with it.

also how about when you have sark knocked out you actually kill em so he's not outwitting you every other move for 2 seasons.

then don't even get me started on laura being in on the whole bigger picture plot... and busting out a sniper rifle hahahahaha so ridiculous... they try wayy too hard to come up with a big "reveal shocker" that it always flops they just don't do it well on this series.

all this being said... even with how ridiculous the series is and how bad it is on alot of levels it does have the ability to be likeable and entertaining.

i'd never rewatch this series again that is for sure, but for just one watch through the journey is pretty entertaining and i do notice so early elements to "fringe" which is pretty cool like the whole dream therapy that olivia went through.

I sensed it was coming since the beginning of Season 3 and I was not disappointed. While watching this episode, the viewer cannot ignore the visions of the Fonz strapping on the ski's as the purr of the boat comes to life. Seasons One and Two were so great and very refreshing action/adventure television, but I do not understand the necessity to add a flavor of Charmed to this show (and I love Charmed, but Charmed is true to itself). There is no need for the CIA and its opponent to spend the taxpayers time and money tracking down the freakin' "Chosen One." I mean, get real writers. If you have a big bag of nothin' to offer, let the studio know before you offend your loyal viewers with this crap. I did give it a 6.5 because the cinematography, fight scenes and the acting is still great.

This had to be the best episode of the entire series. The pilot episode was great but this one was better. Sorry to say after this episode the entire series went downhill. I hated that they wrote off her friends. They kept her personal live interesting. You could tell that Cole was the one telling her to kill the "unimportant man".

Best episode of the season so far - and I think this will also eclipse "The Telling" as the number 2 episode on my all-time list as well. Once again we get huge answers to one solution only to have a million other questions to be replaced with.

How is Lauren a traitor after all this time. Is Micheal and Lauren the new version of Jack and Irina. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered - like how she was being a double agent and what kind of information the Covenent sent her into the CIA to get. She has seemed like a good guy for so long - how long has she been undercover?

The Covenant was an up and coming threat right around the time that "The Telling" took place, was Lauren with them then or was she recently recruited because of the frustation of her marriage. This episode needs to have some answers to it, whereas Phase One didnt really open the door for questions needing to be answered. This is another gamechanger kind of episode and an episode that will be looked at sometime in the future as the episode that changed it all. As far as everything else besides the cliffhanger ending - Sydneys backstory of her two years was done brillantly. To have it all be her idea after all this was genius. That and then the Covenant tricking her into leading them right back to the Rambalidi Box. This episode was everything you could ever want from a television show - perfection.

Syd to Kendall:"He loves me.Nine months is nothing."

I love them when they do this:when they take the show and turn it on its head and not at the end,but in the middle of the season."Full Disclosure" is easily placed among my favourite Alias episodes next to "Phase One" and the "The Telling" to name a few..

This episode is too sad and painful to watch due to its dramatic irony.I don't know where to start from.In the past Syd was betrayed by Sloane, her mother and her father. Now,as she tries to put together the pieces of her life from the previous two years, she discovers she was the victim of herself;she experienced the loss of Vaughn..twice;she killed the man who had all the answers to what had happened to her;she started working as a double agent..again.But the most devastating scene of all is her watching paralyzed her own funeral and the impact her death had on the people closest to her..

What I liked the most in this episode is the way they managed to fit together several plots of the show which were almost forgotten.Project Christmas for example, being that which prevented Syd from turning into Killer Bee,proved to be quite helpful here. What struck me as odd though is the fact that Syd's finally the "Chosen One".If I'm not mistaken, she proved she isn't "The Chosen One" back in the first season.Hope they give us an explanation to this.

Another good thing here is that the Rambaldi plot finally resurfaced.Although I somehow knew the Covenant had a masterplan related to him, learning what the scar in Syd's stomach means was a shock.Yet,the whole "the new advent of Rambaldi" thing didn't seem too much to me.I know it's sick but I liked it actually. And if you think about it,with Syd and Rambaldi as its parents, this child would certainly become a prodigy.

Two things I didn't like here. The first is Lauren being a double agent for the Covenant. The second is Dixon knowing the truth about Syd's past all along. As about the first one,I think it's a shame they decided to turn her bad only because they realized the love triangle wasn't working. And now I'm forced to hate her.As about the second one,the problem is the logical of Dixon not telling Syd about her past and putting her in danger all this time.I just think it's too far-fetched.

Generally,we got a full disclosure as to what happened to Syd during her two year absence but,as always,in the end we were left with some unanswered questions:what exactly is Project Black Hole?how can Lauren be a traitor? Why did Vaughn move on with his life 9 months after Syd's "death"?Who the h*** is the Passenger?

All in all, this episode was a genious.Syd's backstory revelation was marvellous and almost everything from the previous episodes made sense.I liked the way the Covenant managed to trick Syd and I liked how they brought back the Rambaldi plot. This is a classic.

    Notable Quotes:

Oleg to Syd:"The sooner you accept that you are no longer who you were, the easier this will be.Sydney Bristow...is gone."

Cole(possibly) to Julia(Syd):"Who this man is,is not important. What is important is the knife on the table.Use it.Kill this unimportant man."

Lauren:"The matter is taken care of..."

Oleg:"Your name is Julia Thorne. You were born in London on August 2,1973."

Syd:"My name is Sydney Bristow, you ugly bastard."

    Oleg:"Your name is Julia Thorne."

Syd:"Really?then why is my name Sydney Bristow?"

    Miscellaneous:

--I re-watched all the previous episodes, but I couldn't find anything suspicious about Lauren.I'm dying to see what explanation they're going to give us.

--Why was Kendall the first person Syd conducted at her first chance?I can hardly believe it,given their relationship during the previous years.

--Did you notice the Rambaldi's eye carved on the cide of the cave? Was it real or a special effect?

--I liked Weiss' stunts in this episode. That jump was cool.

--Hope the man ordering Syd to kill the man in the wheelchair is McKenas Cole.

    --This episode's locations:Patagonia(Argentina?)

--This episode's alias:in her Julia Thorne version,Syd wore a blonde wig...or was her hair actually dyed?

--This episode's funniest moment:Marshall admitting he put a tracer on the cube.

    amazing,but a little bit sad..

Typical of Alias, it always seems to have a jaw dropping mid-season episode to kick start the remainder of the year into overdrive. If the first half of season 3 was all about Sydney attempting to adjust to her new life and collect those missing pieces surrounding her 2 year absence, the second half seems set in demolishing those admittedly uneasy foundations and sending viewers into a frenzy.

While it has been hinted at before (rather recently in Conscious) it is now confirmed that Lauren is the bad guy fans have wanted her to be. Nevertheless, it stirs up everything and this love triangle has just become more and more entangled. It was by no means the highlight of the episode, but as cliffhangers go, it's up there with the best of Alias. Actually, season 3 has had 3 of my favorite Alias cliffhangers (''you never should have betrayed me'' ''Oh my God…'' and Lauren's bloody reveal).

It's understandable why Sydney would have chosen to have her memories erased. We know from previous episodes that she literally went 'under cover' with Simon on more than one occasion; prostituting herself for the sake of the mission. Even worse, she pretended that she had been programmed to believe she was Julia Thorne and in order to ensure her allegiance, she killed an innocent man. Heavy stuff.

There are so many delectable moments in this episode. I LOVED Syd's torture scenes and her responses whenever Oleg told her that her name was otherwise ('My name is Sydney Bristow, you ugly bastard.'). We finally get to see the extent of Lazarey's involvement in all of this and that bit where Sydney is forced to chop off his hand was nasty (cool effects, by the way, when the weird circular vault opened up).

This is yet another game-changer for the series. It's a rewarding episode that puts to rest many, many questions raised within the opening episodes of the season and then leaves us with one mothertrucker of a cliff-hanger.

Edgy, superbly acted, and laudably executed. The best episode yet from the season!
