Sorry.... this review is really, really long!! But, here it goes....
The episode starts with Sydney waking up after being caught because she is suspected of being a mole. Sloane is telling the partner she was with that Sydney was the mole and that they picked up they tranmission when they were in Switzerland. Sloane tells him that they are using the guy to say they will kill him if she doesn't tell them everything, so SD6 agents beat him up and put him in the cell with Sydney. Sydney's desk has been cleared by security section and Jack sees this. Back in the cell, the guys ask Syd is she's ready to talk to Sloane, but she says no! Looks like the guy is going to get killed (or so we think). Jack confronts security section about taking Syd, but they don't tell him much at all. Sydney gets strapped down and is about to get tortured by a guy who she had always wondered what he did. In the main part of SD6, Marshall gets a message and goes to Sloane with it. They guy is about to start torturing her, but an agent walks in, saying "change of plans." Sloane now is telling Sydney that they had suspected it was her who was the mole, but they have now figured out that it was the guy who she was with, Russek. He is now getting tortured because they think he is the mole. Vaughn meets with Sydney at a flower stand and they talk about how Russek has been caught for being a mole. Was Russuck set up to get Sydney out?? Vaughn gives Sydney a Christmas gift! AW! Sydney, Will, Amy, and Frannie are in Syd's appartment playing a word game with the fire blazing and the tree lit. Her beeper beeps and she has to go to work. Will complains to Sydney about her job and how demanding it is, but she gets very defensive and angry and leaves. Back at "Credit Dauphine" Sloane is breifing the group (sans Dixon) about the new case. Sydney is going to a private island to find out the new identity of Ineni Hassin. After the meeting, Sydney asks Jack if he set up the thing with Russek. Vaughn informs Syd that Russek was killed. Will is with the computer guy listening to the tape that the mystery voice person put in his glove box. They hear the three gun shots and try to hear more from it. Suddenly they do hear something: "Did you tell him about SD6?" Wow! That night, Sydney goes by Will's house to apologize for snapping at him about her job. Will's assistant, Jenny is there too! Now we go to the private island. Sydney, now with blonde hair and the alias "Victoria King" is in the hotel, wearing pink-lensed sunglasses that take pictures. She starts taking pictures of a guy at the pool, and on the way back in, bumps into a guy. She goes out to a pool in a bikini and starts talking to the guys she was taking pictures of. She's apologizes for playing her music too loud, but it isn't true. He tells her his room number after much flirting. Back in LA, Will is in a parking garage talking to a man whose name came up when he searched for the name "SD6." A man named David McNeal is linked to it and this guy is a friend and his lawyer (?), and now McNeal is in prison because he pleaded guilty to something (sorry can't remember) after his wife "killed herself." Now we're back on the island again and Sydney uses a fake key card to get in to Hassan's room, but is caught by a guy with a gun. She pretends she's meeting someone there, then proceeds to beat the guy up and throws him through the window-thing in the wall, which reveals a room with an operating table and such. Ineni Hassan has a new face! It was the guy Syd bumped into earlier. Sloane tells Jack about the situation and gives him a new mission, to go to Cuba to kill Hassan. Sloane tells a story about from when he was in the CSI (the real one) and he had a "perfect moment," but he could feel a darkness coming. We also find out that Sloane's wife has lymphoma. Vaughn tells Syd that her father is going to Hassan to get his client list. Jack is going to tell him that he was going to be killed and that they are going to fake his death in exchange for the client list. Syd leaves Vaughn after they both exchange warm smiles. But there was something that Vaughn didn't tell Sydney. He found out that Jack really was the one who altered the transmission and set up Russek. O wait, he really didn't see the transmission, it was just a hunch, and now Jack has admitted to it. He justifies it by saying that his daughter was about to be tortured/executed and he needed to do something. Back at Sydney's apartment, Syd and Frannie both mention something about Jenny to Will. Sydney opens Vaughn's gift and finds an antique picture frame. She sees a picture of her father and remembers a story, which she proceeds to tell Vaughn. She has realized that Jack set up Russek, but Vaughn informs her that Russek wasn't really all that good, as he was one of the first members of SD6 and knew all about what they really are. Vaughn also tells her that in Cuba Jack has been captured by Hassan, and the CIA will not go in because it is too risky. Sydney is going in to get her father. At a prison, Will visits David McNeal, the person linked to SD6. He asks him about SD6, but the guy won't say anything at all about it because he is afriad that something will happen to his daughter. Sydney is in Buca, where Jack is getting beat up by Hassan (now known as Nebseni Saad). Jack tells Hassan about the offer from the CIA, saying instead that it is for his own personal use. Sydney beats up guards on her way to get to Jack. Hassan asks Jack if he can trust him completely. Will he prove that he will go against SD6? They bring out Sydney, who has been caught. "Here, kill her," they say. The episode ends with Jack pointing the gun at Sydney.
