GOOF: While interrogating Sloane, McKenas puts a Fire Needle into his neck. When he shoots Toni, the needle is still there, after he checks Toni's vital's the needle's gone. Then when Jack gets Sloane out of the chair, the needle is back in his neck.
GOOF: While Vaughn is removing the bolts with the fire extinguisher, the top left bolt is gone, but in the next cut, it's back there again.
Number 47: Dixon's Employee ID is 8736B. (8 * 7 = 56, - 3 = 53, - 6 = 47)
Number 47: (inverted) The code to open the vault is 927465398107.
Cole tortures Sloane by injecting a super-concentrated derivative of hot sauce. Capsaicin, the active chemical ingredient in spicy foods like hot sauce, has a paradoxical effect at sufficiently high doses: instead of causing pain, it relieves it. It's a common ingredient in topical pain relieving ointments.
Sydney takes out one of the terrorists, and Cole can hear him getting beat-up over the walkie-talkie. If the terrorist is getting beat up, who is holding down the button to transmit?
Dixon manages to enter a perfectly spelled and punctuated message in his PDA, with his hands tied and using the end of a plastic handcuff, while being watched by armed terrorists.
McKenas Cole: (to Sydney) Yeah, you didn't want to kiss me, but working for a scumbag like Sloane, that's alright by you. Well let me tell you something about that weasel boss of yours, he will disappoint you, one day and hope to God I'm there when that day happens, you will hate him.
(Sydney and Vaughn attempt to defuse one of the explosive charges) Sydney: You studied bomb defusing at Langley? Vaughn: Just seminar style, nothing field specific. Sydney: Does anyone ever learn anything at seminars?
(Sydney and Vaughn find one of the explosive fail-safes) Vaughn: There's got to be at least 200 Lbs. here, enough to level the building. Sydney: It's a fail-safe, Sloane has 3 of these rigged to the vault in case- Vaughn: 3!? Sydney: The doors opens they all blow. Vaughn: Then maybe they shouldn't open the vault. Sydney: "They" being the 6 men with machine guns.
Sydney: Dixon contacted you? Vaughn: Not directly. Through Langley. Said SD-6 was under attack. Are you okay? Sydney: It's true. There's a team of six, maybe seven. They've got the latest military specs. They're after something in the vault.
Weiss: And what if there has been a takeover? Vaughn: (gets his gun out of his locker and loads it) If I'm not back in a couple of hours, I'm probably dead. Weiss: Good to know.
Haladki: Any irregularities at all? Vaughn: What, you mean other than a desperate message from an agent begging for our help?
Sloane: So easy for you to blame me, huh? When you know the truth. You got your own men killed. That helicopter was waiting for you... McKenas Cole: I had a man down! I was saving Whitney's life. You knew that! Sloane: Yeah, at the expense of all the other men. Those men counted on you to lead them to safety. They trusted their life to you and you led them to slaughter.
Dixon: You okay? Marshall: (blood is running down his head) Except for my head injury, yeah.
McKenas Cole: Dear person... beating up my men. I assume that you're an employee here. I am now standing in Sloane's... tastefully minimalistic office. And if you're not here, standing in front of me in the next 20 seconds, I'm going to start executing your friends, starting with the man that I assume to be your partner... Mr. Jack Bristow.
McKenas Cole: I feel like a mom in a shopping mall!
Vaughn: This is a charge of C-4. I can tell because it says C-4 everywhere.
McKennas Cole: You know... a lot of guys it's their socks, their piece, their guns, their bullets custom hollow tips, but for me I have always sucked my luck from a bottle of champagne.
McKenas Cole: (to Sydney) I know you didn't wanna kiss me, but when I was taking a hit off that bottle before, I backwashed in it. I mean, like, really big-time.
Quentin Tarantino is billed as a Special Guest Star.
Music from this episode includes: "Rockaway" by Jesse Harris & The Ferdinandos "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac
Will: (holding a black wig) I looked like Gabe Kaplan. Gabriel Kaplan, a.k.a. Gabe Kaplan, is an actor best known for his part as Gabe Kotter in Welcome Back, Kotter, a hit sitcom of the 70's which is why Kelly didn't know whom Will was talking about.
Visual: Ship named "Alba Varden" The name of the ship where Will gets the envelope is the "Alba Varden". This is an in-joke reference to the same ship with the same name in the movie Lethal Weapon 2.
Haladki: (answering the phone) Extraction Teams "R" Us? This is obviously a pun on "Toys R US," the massive toy store chain.
