Episode Recap

Under orders from Ineni Hassan, Jack aims the gun at Sydney. He blinks in Morse code and sends her a message. With precise timing, Sydney and jack are able to take out all of Hassan's thugs. They also are able to capture Hassan.

They take Hassan and make it look like they have killed him. Jack takes pictures of "dead" Hassan. He uses the photos to convince Sloane that Hassan is dead. However, Hassan is in the custody of the CIA.

When she returns home, Sydney finds out from Vaughn that he is investigating the codes from her mother's books. They are orders written by the KGB. They contain names of CIA agents…who were killed many years ago.

Sloane informs Sydney and Dixon of their next mission. Minos Sakkoulas, one of Hassan's associates, has taken over for him in underground crime. Sakkoulas has a device known as "the Package". Sydney must go to Greece and steal information from Sakkoulas' computer. Vaughn gives her a counter-mission. He will give her a false set of files and she will give those to SD-6, while giving the real info to the CIA.

Vaughn and Sydney talk more about the Cyrillic codes. They are both convinced that Jack must have been working with the KGB. Sydney, despite her beliefs on Jack, is reluctant to take this information to the authorities. Vaughn, however, has secretly tape-recorded their conversation and plans to go to the authorities with or without her.

Sakkoulas' headquarters are inside a Greek nightclub. Sydney is unable to get to Sakkoulas' office in time, so Dixon goes instead. He then gives SD-6 the real information.

When she returns home, Vaughn tells Sydney that he recorded their conversation. He tells her that he recorded her because one of the agents who were killed was his father, Bill Vaughn. Sydney is confused and upset and goes to Will for comfort.

Hassan tells Vaughn that "the Package" can be found in an abandoned missile silo on the island of Crete. He demands that the CIA bring his wife and son to the US so they will be protected. Vaughn refuses.

To cover Sydney so she can go to Crete, Jack tells Sloane about the missile silo. Sloane thinks that Jack got this information through his own contacts. Sloane sends Sydney to retrieve "the Package" for SD-6 but she plans on giving it to the CIA.

Sydney breaks into the missile silo while Vaughn is observing her over satellite. Hassan is cooperating and helping Vaughn guide her every move. Hassan gives her a false code to the alarm system. It activates an anti-intruder device. Sydney's life is in danger as the room's sprinklers begin to shower her with gasoline…

Hassan will not give her the deactivation code until he gets in writing that his wife and son will be brought to the US for protection. Vaughn and Weiss race to Devlin's office to get him to sign off on it. Sydney deactivates the alarm and returns to LA with "the Package."

Sydney and Vaughn go to meet with CIA Director Devlin to tell him about their evidence regarding Jack. As they walk into the room they are stunned to see Devlin sitting with Jack, and eight senior officers. Jack tells Sydney that he was never a KGB agent and the KGB orders in the books were not sent to him…they were sent to Sydney's mother…
