A new player is on the picture - the same one who attacked SD-6 but noone knows who is behind. They only know name "The man".

Same time than trying to get to the truth on it, Sydney has many personal problems - first school. She feels like she doesn't want to continue after the truth about her mother.. and someway I got her.. I really think the whole school thing in the story is to get her char more acceptable for younger audience but really - how you would manage to go to school if you have missions every other day? That looks illogical but ok.. it adds something to the show.. And then her friend.. and her fiancee..

Directed by Thomas J. Wright, a rather prolific director who has worked for renowned genre shows such as X-flies, Angel and Millennium, and other notable series such as One Tree Hill, Firefly and CSI, imbues The Coup with a style that compliments the rather character driven script by Alex and Roberto. Sark, a character that will go on to define some of Alias' best moments, has an immensely cool opening scene, and all throughout the episode there are some gorgeous looking shots. What this episode lacks in the action department, it compensates with some brilliant character moments: loved how Will had his own little mission to work on, infiltrating a company to hack into the computerised guestbook; likewise, I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegas scenes of Syd trying to do her job all the while preventing Francie making a huge mistake. The scene involving Jack reminiscing about when Syd and her mother used to love going on the carousel was another example of Alias knocking one right out of the park. Overall, it's a solid episode made even better by allowing characters like Jack, Francie and Will some time to grow.

    1. Por favor que a nadie se la ocurra que Sidney y Vaughn no terminen juntos. J.J. dejaría de contar con mi respeto reverencial.

    2. The Man es un zarpado total.

Sydney learns that Charlie was having an affair with another woman while dating Francie. Sydney and Dixon go to Vegas for their next mission. Sydney is surprised to find Francie and Charlie there. They are going to a wedding chapel, so Sydney must find a way to get to them and do the mission. She talks to Charlie and confronts him about it. Will continues his search into SD-6. Jack helps in making Sydney's decision to quit school. Dixon and Sydney go to Russia to listen in on a secret meeting. There is a guy named Sark involved. Sydney is caught...

This episode was great! The ending was exciting! I liked Charlie, I wish he didn't have an affair. This episode gets a 9.5 out of 10 from me!

In this episode of Alias Sydney and Dixon are sent to Las Vegas Nevada some information from a K-Directorate member that has ties with the people who attacked SD-6 otherwise Sydney finds out some shocking information about her best friends fiancé and will comes more closer to finding out what SD-6 really is over all a good episode to the series that has a good mission in it and got a good little story with Jack and Sydney in it as well this is a very entertaining episode and is not boring are dull my rating for this review is 9.9

Another amazing episode I thought. I thought that this episode was one of the best all season from beginning to end with action adventure and drama being mixed very well. I thought the ending scene was one of the best action scenes – with Sydney once again making a huge mistake that gets her in a huge amount of trouble. You would think a couple of times she would be able to do a mission without messing up and drawing attention to herself in some way. But Im not going to make the episode lose ratings points because of that – the episode was still evry well written. The Las Vegas drama with Sydneys friend was good because it was short and much needed to help wrap up that storyline. I don’t mind the relationship drama as long as it doesn’t start to take up the majority of the episode in the episodes to come. Cant wait to find out who this mystery informant is – could be no one or it could be a blockbuster twist.
