My lowest rated episode of Alias so far. I thought the entire episode was pretty boring, with the exception of two parts that I can remember. The beginning was a complete waste of time, with Sydney undergoing about ten minutes of ranodm tests that we really didn't get much insite to. Tell her your giving her tests, have her not want to, end of story. Why do we have to watch actors complain about what is being done to Sydney for ten minutes and watch her take random tests where all she says is a letter. I thought the entire first half of this episode was very poorly written. the second half picked up a little bit and saved the episode when Sloane was tricked into killing the man that would have been the tying vote. I thought the scene right after the vote where Slone put all the pieces together in shock was amazing. I dont know how much the SD 9 guy will play in the future, or the bad guy that he has joined up with. The veyr last scene about the prophecy was decent, but I strongly dislike the idea of Sydney in custody.moreless
  • High stakes

    "Superb"
This episode really is different and somehow that makes it weaker, but the high stakes the everything else is going on, makes it stronger.. so.. in the end - very enjoyable episode.

The picture thing and prophecy - what a storyline.. definetly not what you expect and all the dark and power it promising.. I really sometimes wonder how Sydney manages to do that.. and the whole secrecy in the start.. not telling her what it is about, treating her as a lab rat.. And then the Solan storyline.. to be honest, I did not get much of it and it did looked little weird but the ending fixed it all.moreless

    "Great"
This is not my favorite episode I thought it was a little dull and slow and the Sydney thing kind been done before to me any way Sloane suspect the a close friend may be on the side of the enemy I do not hate the episode it just wasn't my taste for a series like alias but we did learn quit a lot about Rambaldi in the episode which made is decent enough more me to like it but I found the ending to be pretty basic even thow it was tense my overall rating is 8.5 the endmoreless
  • A fantastic episode that focuses on Rambaldi.

OK, so if you hated the Rambaldi storylines, this episode is definatley not for you! I am however a huge fan of this arc, which i why this is one of my favourites of the season. So the opening scenes were fantastic really building up our curiosity aswell as Sydney's. Making us long for more.

Breaking into the Vatican was a great scene where we see how great a team Syd and Vaughn are together and how they should never be taken apart!

Then there was the prophecy. A fantastic, yet creepy part of the Rambaldi story that just ichtes your curiosity!

So all in all, one of my favourites that sets up the prophecy arc well.moreless

    • The French conversation when Sloane meets Briault is (translated to English): Briault: My friend! Sloane: How are you my friend? Briault: Very, very well. I became a grandfather last week. Sloane: Oh, you are a grandfather. The two then begin speaking in English.

    • Number 47: The box where Sydney and Vaughn find the code key is labeled 14547.

    • After Poole open the laptop on Sloane's desk you can see it closed when Sloane is looking at the picture, but in the next scene it is still open.

    ADD QUOTES
    • (As the FBI is taking Sydney into custody.) Vaughn: Those medical tests you took, they were looking to match three specific anomalies Rambaldi mentioned: DNA sequencing, platelet levels, and the size of your heart. You match all three. Sydney: So what does the prophecy say? Evans: "This woman here depicted will possess unseen marks. Signs that she will be the one to bring forth my works. Bind them with fury, a burning anger unless prevented at vulgar cost this woman will render the greatest power unto utter desolation."

    • Sloane: Using all available resources, we have finally tracked down the enemy who we no longer have to refer to as The Man. Thanks to the surveillance photos you obtained in Brazil, we have confirmed his identity. He is Alexander Khasinau.

    • Sloane: Our conversations were never recorded. We talked on secure lines. I made sure I met Briault in secret. You used me. Poole: I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about. Sloane: I will repay the favor.

    • Vaughn: You're being investigated by the DSR. Sydney: DSR? Vaughn: Department of Special Research. And it was created during World War II to investigate Nazi interest in the occult. After the war, an executive order was signed, empowering them to investigate fringe science, uh, parapsychology, remote viewing... Sydney: What do they want with me? Vaughn: They want to know why your picture is in the Rambaldi book. No, I know it seems ridiculous.

    • Sydney: Hey did you know Kobe Bryant was named for a steak?

    • Haladki (about Sydney's involvement with the "Prophecy"): It's like 666, guys, you see the writing on the kid's scalp, you know there's some problems at home.

    • Sydney: This drawing is five hundred years old. Millions of women have looked like that. My mom looked like that. Maybe it's a picture of my mother.

    • Emily: For four months, I did nothing. I was so terrified of what I did not know. So terrified that I was paralyzed. And the longer that went on, the more terrified I got. Wanting to know the truth but being too afraid to find the answers.

    • Sydney: We'd have to leave tonight. You in? Vaughn: Yeah, I'll break into the Vatican with you.

    • Vaughn: So, I was thinking, later tonight when we get the code key, maybe we can check it out? Sydney: What, the restaurant? Vaughn: Yeah. Well, it's almost too good not to. Sydney: Unless SD-6 spots us there and has us killed. Vaughn: Well, the food's so good it's almost worth the risk.

    • Sydney: You move out of my way or I will make you move out of my way.
