Wouldn't it be nice if they release alice on dvd.

    Tv shows with just one season under their belts are released on dvd, yet shows who were with numberous seasons on air are never put on dvd. I know


    Alice had been release as a best of dvd several years ago. I hope someday Alice will be release on dvd.

    Sadly, there is an overpriced "Best of" DVD on Amazon.com, but the entire series in any format at all is not available, sadly. Someone apparently taped the entire series which ran on TNN at one point and I've seen them for sale on Ebay and other places -- but the quality is definitely compromised and not as good as a real boxed set would be. I keep wishing that someone would release the series for it's many fans who loved and watched it weekly. Younger people who did not grow up with "Alice" also love the characters and enjoy it too, in my experience. It's odd how this no brainer release has been overlooked so long!
