A Joke I Didn't Get from "The Muslim Card"

    In "The Muslim Card", Raja reads off a name someone wrote on Mindy's petition, and it made Mindy cry when he did so. I didn't understand why. Does anyone remember?

    The names were "Anita Mandalay" and "Adolf Oliver Bush".

    Turns out she had some good number of signatures on her petition already. When Raja read one of them off, we could realize it was a bogus name, a signature one made just to joke on Mindy. Therefore, no one really wanted to signed her petition albeit she had many signatures on it. Everyone signed fake names just to joke on her. That's why she cried, and that's the joke: you get to see how is this girl pushed around by everyone in school.

    actually, i took it as she made the names up herself since noone would sign it. this way if she found someone, they wouldnt think they were the first and then not sign.

    i think thats why she was so excited about raja signing. also the fact that she kinda liked him. hahah.

    No, people were putting sexually suggestive names(say "Anita Mandalay" until the 'joke' hits you) to be jerks. I doubt she would be dumb enough to put those names on her own petition.
