E! online is reporting that Aliens in America is most likely cancelled, since CW is pickuping Reaper.
So, the May 18 eposide will be the series finale.

Yup definetley going to be cancelled. Tv Guid stated May 9, 2008 that Aliens In America will not return for a second season. I am really gonna miss this show. I REALLY LOVE IT

Why is this show getting cancelled? Low ratings or something? I'm asking this because my sister really liked this show and she's pretty hard to impress.

i just signed the petition. yeah, as far as i know, low ratings are the reason for the cancellation. its a shame..AiA is such an amazing show..

Loved by all? Only reason I would watch this show leave is because I am fond of the actress who plays Mosely and she's in this series. I don't find it funny, except for when she's in it.

It's loved by fans. And there aren't THAT many if the ratings are low. Frankly, let the series die. Unless your willing to be as dedicated as Jericho fans are who are paying to have SAVE JERICHO ads on newspapers and are raising money to have a billboard in the middle of Hollywood.

Another awesome show cancelled. Too bad, this show is really funny and interesting and the cast does a good job too. I'm starting to hate the Nielsen ratings.

The problem is that it was not a bit of a surprise. It had low ratings all around. They were incredibly bad, in fact. Often not making a 1.0 in the 18-34 demo and often not making 1 million viewers for new episodes. It was really bad and the network was right in cancelling it. It was a good show and had good critical acclaim, but the problem is that almost noone watched it.

Thats too bad - at first it was an OK show but the last 5-6 episodes were pretty good.
It was a good pairing with Everybody hates Chris.
Justin is such a goofball and Raja was funny too.....

Nothing like the other school/college tv shows...

It's really good TV !!!!

Hope they consider keeping it on the air... It's most definitely worth it !!!!

We never understood why this show was taken off of the original night it was aired (Monday or Tuesday?) when there was really nothing else good on to watch (thereby giving it a chance to gather a following) and placed on Sunday night opposite two long lived heavy hitters like The Simpsons and King of the Hill.
Why oh why would any network scheduling person do that to a brand new show with unknown actors (that didn't involve outright nudity or eating bugs for money)?
The only answer is that it was intended to fail. Perhaps some investment groups tax write off.
