Raja is making a big deal about his career aptitude test. Justin talks about how everyone is talking about the future. Raja's results say he should become a doctor. Justin has no clear future. He got "ok" on all of them.

Justin doesn't want to tell his parents about his results on the test, but Raja is already doing that when he comes home. Gary and Franny are a little worried about Justin's future. They try to help him decide what to be. Claire defends Justin surprisingly. Franny and Claire have been fighting lately. Claire always goes to Alicia's house. Franny confides in her best friend, Maureen. Maureen is divorced and seems to hate Gary. Justin and Raja are at Dooley's house. Dooley's dad comes in with Dooley's brother, Dylan. Dooley doesn't seem to like him. Dooley's father is a stay-at-home dad. Justin seems inspired. He tells Gary and Raja that he wants to be a stay-at-home dad. Gary is surprised and tells him that men can't do that. At dinner, Raja mentions that housekeeping is women's work. Franny is a little offended. Justin's career choice causes tension. Franny leaves to go to Maureen's after Claire makes fun of her.

Gary finds Justin making waffles and Raja stitching a banana. Gary gets the phone and Franny is on the other line. Franny won't come home until Claire apologizes. Gary lets Franny take all the time she needs. Gary announces that they are going hunting. Gary wants Justin to be manly and make career suggestions. Gary goes after Justin and gives Raja the crossbow. Raja is tempted to shoot an arrow, even though he's not supposed to. Gary gives Justin a lecture. Raja accidentally shoots Gary in the butt. Raja runs away like a girl.

Maureen takes Franny to a club. Some younger girls get in first and one of them is Claire. Franny goes in to get her. Justin and Raja get Gary to the couch. Raja apologizes again. Justin takes care of Gary. Franny gets Claire and Alicia out of the club. Alicia is very drunk. She even kisses Franny. Franny is taking Alicia home. Raja says that he got queasy after seeing the injury, so now he says he can't be a doctor. Raja apologizes for not being supportive of his career choice. Franny gets Alicia to her bed. Alicia's mom isn't there, so Franny takes care of her. There, Claire realizes that Franny isn't so bad. Gary then realizes the same thing when Justin takes care of him. Franny takes Claire's fake ID. Claire apologizes to Franny for all the stuff she did. Justin says that he doesn't want to be a stay-at-home dad anymore because it's harder than he though. Regardless, Gary approves of his job. Raja faints after Gary mentions blood. Franny and Claire come home.
