When Tommy falls into the river, he has a flashback, and when it's over, he's underwater looking at Chuckie. How can he be underwater? They are wearing life jackets.
In Tommy's flashback, he seems a little older than he did in Rugrats.
When Tommy finished talking with Chuckie in their tent, he lays back in his sleeping bag and the view turns to just Tommy. His sleeping bag turns blue, but when it goes to Phil, Chuckie, and Tommy again in the morning, his sleeping bag is the original green color.
After Phil grabs the oar that he drops, it cuts to him with the oar laying at the bottom-left corner of the screen, it's blue, but when it cuts back to them all in the raft, it becomes brown again.
In a rafting boat, like the one they used, you can fit up to 6, even 8 people in it, and they are 5, so why would they use two boats for such a small group? I mean, you'd think Chas, the over-protected father he is, would've figured that out.
We learn that Tommy has Hydrophobia, fear of water.
In this episode, Chuckie is perfectly fine in the moving raft, but in the first Rugrats movie, Chuckie gets sea-sick.
Tommy saves Phil's life.
We learn Chuckie is afraid of boggie boarding.
This is the only episode in the entire Rugrats/All Grown Up series where only one of the DeVille twins appeared without the other.
Tommy's fear of water reflects all the way back to the early Rugrats episode, "Down the Drain."
Alternate Episode Title: "Riding the Waves."
We learn that Tommy has a fear of swimming in rivers, due to a near-death experience as an infant.
Grandpa Lou makes his first appearance since "All Growed Up," but just in the flashback scenes.
Dil, Lil, Kimi, Susie, and Angelica are absent in this episode.
