Susie: I used to like that song.
Susie: Do you still have this cute top…
Lisa: Don't push your luck, girl.
Angelica: Everyone's credit.
Betty: Have you cracked your nut?
Chas: Actually, Betty, I think it was my spine.
(Later)
Chas: Betty, would you mind taking me to the emergency room ... again?
Chuckie: See, I'm vanilla. Crustless vanilla Finster. I was gonna get the chocolate mango swirl bar, but no! I chickened out at the last minute.
Tommy: Actually, Chuckie, you chickened out at the first minute. But hey, be tight with that.
Chuckie: But I want to be tight with a different Chuckie. The Chuck. A Chuck who takes risk, a Chuck who flirts with danger.
Tommy: Come on Chuck, how long does it take to copy your butt?
Chuckie: I wasn't sure if I was letter or legal sized.
Angelica's Song:
One, two, three, four!
Can't help it boy, my heart's got call-waiting
Don't want you to be the only one I'm dating
Oops, got to put you on hold
Oops, got to put you on hold
And when our cars, went bump, bump baby
My heart went thump, thump baby!
Susie's Song:
I was feeling real shattered
But my dreams they still matter
So if you think I'm going, baby, you're wrong
I'm so strong
'Cause there's no getting rid of this dream.
How can I tell you what I mean?
Sure I took the wrong path
But then I did some new math.
'Cause there's no getting rid of this dream.
How can I tell you what I mean?
Pangborn: I smell fear... (In girl's face) SMELL IT!
Girl: Ahhhhh! (Runs away screaming)
Chas: Did you hear what one eye said to the other? Don't look now, but something between us smells! (Drumroll & rimshot)
Chuckie: Tommy, is it me, or does this mole look like Phil?
Tommy: I'll take your word for it.
(Later)
Pangborn: Holy moly! That looks like Phil DeVille!
Chuckie: I thought so, too!
Pangborn: (About Chuckie) A little boy calling out for attention, when all he wanted was a little detention.
We learn Susie is a great singer.
Dil is the only character without any dialogue in this episode.
Randy only speaks once in this episode.
This episode can be seen on Nintendo's GBA Video.
All Grown Up Susie is not the only character Cree Summer voices that sings a lot. Numbah Five from Codename: Kids Next Door is apparently a big singer, as seen in one of Cartoon Network's commercials.
Alisa was 16 in the original series, meaning she must be in her mid-20's now. She mentions "buying a house with Ty," which implies that she's probably married.
First appearances of Alisa (Susie's sister), Lucy (Susie's mother), and Randy Carmichael (Susie's father). Ironically, Edwin and Buster don't appear.
We find out that Kimi has always been Susie's best friend.
Harold, Angelica's rival in pre-school, is a member of her music group. Even though "Coup DeVille" was the first episode to air, this episode was the first one produced.
This is a direct-to-video episode.
Chuckie: No figure four leg lock?
The figure four leg lock is an actual wrestling move where you twist your opponent's leg and hold it in place with both of your legs. This move is done by WWE superstar, Ric Flair.
Episode Title: Susie Sings the Blues
There is a movie called "Lady Sings the Blues."
