Bra shopping is Lil's father (Howard's) department.
Kath Soucie, who voices Phil, Lil, and Betty, accidently says Betty's line "you're putting to much spin on the ball" in Lil's voice.
Why wasn't Tommy playing with the team instead of filming them? Isn't he a team member, too?
At the end of the episode when Phil is in Lil's room, Lil's sneakers turn from purple to blue.
Lil: Don't you guys ever get tired of talking about sports and bodily functions? (Phil burps)
Betty: How 'bout we squeeze in some "Lil time" tomorrow. After practice, we can have a girls night out. Lil: We're not shopping for bras, are we? Betty: That's your father's department.
Pangborn: (Sobbing) How can Lil do this to me? To us? Betty: Sometimes, you got to let them make their own choices. You should shave your neck.
Football Coach: (Blows whistle) You expect to be on junior junior varsity with no upper-body strength? (Blows whistle) Angelica: You're the coach! Why don't you show me how it's done?! Put your money where your big, fat mouth is! Football Coach: That's some squawk box you got on you, Pickles. Any chance you'd be interested in a student coaching position?
Angelica: (In a football uniform) Tell me the truth. Do I have helmet hair? Kimi: More like helmet brain.
Angelica: That's it! Sports - it's a guy magnet. I just need a sport. Susie: Your'e forgetting one itsy-bitsy detail; you have no athletic ability whatsoever. Angelica: Yeah, but that sure doesn't stop Phil.
Pangborn: (To soccer team) And just because we've lost every single game... ever... doesn't mean that today we can't lose by a little bit less.
Pangborn: (To soccer team) Time to work on penalty shots, people! (Softly) 'Cause heaven knows you need it.
Pangborn: Wally, eye on the ball! Eye on the ball! Betty: No! No! No! You have to keep your eyes straight ahead and feel the ball. Pangborn: (Blows whistle) Excuse me. You ever heard of the word "assistant"? It means you zip it, while I do the coaching.
Susie: That worked out well. Angelica: (Frustrated) Put a lid on it, Carmichael.
Lil: Everything around here is always soccer, soccer, soccer. Phil: Dad, can you put on the Soccer Channel?
