    • This is the only time George Jefferson flushes four toilets in the apartment.

    • We find out that The Jeffersons have four bathrooms in their apartment.

    • Edith gave Louise fruit for her subway ride to Manhattan, but in the opening credits to 'The Jeffersons', Louise and George took a cab.

    • In this episode, George says he rented a limo to "leave Bunkersville in style". However, in the opening credits of The Jeffersons, they are riding in a taxi.

  • Notes

    • This episode was videotaped on October 25, 1974.

    • Mel Stewart, who plays Henry Jefferson in All In The Family, does not appear in The Jeffersons spin off series, nor made any guest appearances.

    • In the closing credits Madge Sinclair is credited for playing Helen Willis. However, Helen is played by Roxie Roker, who would portray Helen throughout the entire run of The Jeffersons.

    • Ned Wertimer's appearance in the role of Ralph the Doorman--his first-- is uncredited. Wertimer, Zara Cully and Paul Benedict would bring their characters to The Jeffersons

    • Carroll O'Connor, Sally Struthers and Rob Reiner do not appear in this episode.

    • This pilot for The Jeffersons was the second All in the Family episode to be a pilot for a spin-off series. Maude being the first.
