"The Joys of Sex" is something very rare: a forgettable episode of All in the Family. While there are some instances of clever dialogue and a few genuine laughs, there is not much else to say about this particular episode. In fact, I watched it again recently because I totally forgot the ultimate resolution of the story (though I knew it had a happy ending). There are much better episodes of All in the Family you should see ("Archie is Branded", "Sammy's Visit"). Don't bother with this throwaway episode. Well, nobody's perfect. Not even Norman Lear.moreless
