      • This is the only episode where we see Irene and Frank Lorenzo's kitchen in the series.

      • This is the second time Irene has showed up and given Mike advice on family planning after a fight erupted between him and Gloria about bringing a child into the world. The first time was in Season Five's episode "Gloria's Shock" and Irene suggested adoption. In this episode, Irene's counsel is different as she presents Mike with a quote from Alistair Cooke that states no generation should worry so much about its present troubles that they would miss out on the opportunity to bounce a baby.
