What happened to the U.S. flag Archie taped to the front door to cover the swastika? Archie and Gloria tape the string attached to the flag to the glass in the door, yet when Paul Benjamin arrives and afterwards the flag is no longer there.
The man delivering the package looks like he's got a U.S. Postal service uniform on and is credited as "Mailman". Why is the Post Office delivering to the Bunkers on a Sunday morning? This is even more mysterious when it turns out to be a legitimate package from Cousin Amelia--a bomb (delivered by a guy dressed as a postman) would've made more sense!
The lighting, in this particular episode, could have been better. For example, there was noticable darkness on the staircase in the opening scene . I can't complain too much; this episode is still superb!
Just before Barney opens the door to leave the Bunkers' house, a television camera can be seen briefly to the right of the screen.
When Archie frantically answers the phone after his Cannonballers tryout you can see the overhead mike.

Why didn't Edith explain to the security when they 'caught her stealing' that she was actually running out to warn the Old Lady? Did Edith really need a Priest to refresh her memory on why she ran out of the store with the merchandise?
Archie has a pleasant phone conversation with his brother Fred in this episode, but when Fred appears in season 8, they say they haven't spoken in 29 years.
Factual Error: Gloria says that the Orthodox Jewish man says "Blessed...that I was not created a woman" in order to show his dominance over women. This is completely incorrect. The reason for the man saying that is because men have more "mitzvot" (positive commandments) than women do, and the men thank God for the opportunity to perform more mitzvot. Judaism has always stressed the importance of women throughout the Torah.
Edith says that it will be the first night that she and Archie slept separately in 24 years. But in the episode "Edith Has Jury Duty", Edith spent several nights in a hotel.
Edith also took Gloria and left Archie for a short time when Archie wouldn't quit gambling early in their marriage so she slept apart from him then too.
Don't forget "Cousin Maude's Visit" when Maude made the sickly Archie sleep on the couch.
