  • A very rushed and unplanned storyline

    1.0
This should have been a two part episode to explain the new direction of the show. We spend nearly five minutes going over what has happened from the last season with no explanation. We see that Robert's show was canceled after the changes, Tia was not really pregnant and leaves and Neesee's house burns down causing her to move in Robert. We also see that Dirk is divorced for the fourth time. A better season opener should have focused on Dirk and Jonelle announcing their divorce and having them finalize their divorce on the second episode. We could have killed off Tia rather than having her leave without an explanation or having her get promoted and moving away. Tia is presented as she just ups and leaves. There should have been a focus on the cancellation of Robert's show and him arguing with the new program director. Neesee should have moved in with a friend rather than living with her ex-husband for the remainder of the series. The show seemed that it was doomed for failure from this point on.moreless
  • In the begining, this show had many possibilities. Now I don't know where the storyline is going.

    5.0
What made All of us very interesting was that the characters played a very real life situation that alot of people can relate to. A couple that gets a divorce and the husband moves on with his life leaving the ex-wife jealous and unable to move on raising a child the best way possible is what is actually going on in America today. With Tia being gone I feel that this show will have to rely on humor only. Not that she is what made the show a hit, but the animosity between the ex-wife and the new girlfriend is what made the show hit home for many. Dirk can be funny but it is apparent that Duane Martin carries him all the way. Oh yeah, the show could use more cast memebers. But again, this only my review.moreless

    • The storyline loses a major focus with this episode. In the season finale of the season two, the program director states the ratings are higher under the new format of Robert's show. Yet, in this episode he states the show was canceled and he was out of a job.

We never get a full explanation of what happened to Tia? Tia was too sophisticated and mature to not be pregnant and just up and leave Robert.

Thirdly, we never get any real closure to Dirk and Jonelle's relationship. He simply announces they are broken up and just have pity sex.

    • Robert has shaving cream on his nipples when Neesee pushes him in to the shower to avoid Bobby seeing them together. When he opens the curtain immediately afterward, the shaving cream is gone. But in the following shots when the two have their little battle, the shaving cream is back on his chest.
