Kate Ritchie managed to fend off a surge by ABC personalities to take home the Gold Logie at the 50th TV Week Logie Awards.
"The only reason I'm disappointed about winning is I won't get to hear Chris Lilley's acceptance speech," she said. And she was right. Lilley was certainly a crowd favourite on the night, drawing big cheers from his peers for his chameleon work in Summer Heights High, a show in which he not only starred, but also created.
