An article about Jo pursuing Sean quite aggressively and being knocked back - it sounds like she's not so much aggressive but trampy. THe description plus her behaviouir in Contact make me think she was quite careless and inconsiderate.

Plus a few comments from Chris Vance about how he hates the sight of blood - kind of amusing.

Did anyone in Perth watch Telethon? Saw a bit of Jolene Anderson, Andrew Spartnez and Alison Cratchley on the panel, plus Wil Travel was backstage in the phoneroom answering a few questions.
Poor guy - he thoroughly mispronounced a wellknown suburb/shopping centre, and when he wwent to say which suburb his girlfriend's parents lived in, he looked like he was thinking long and hard about it!
Pity he's got a gf though...

Just an article about a flu epidemic that sweeps through the hospital, and Cate's fatigue from partying too much with Jo. A Q&A with Chris Vance.

My question was published in the Chris Vance article- I asked him what part of English life he missed the most. I wasn't expecting it to be published, but it was! Yay!

This week's TV Week - just a story about Cate's partying with Jo getting her into a lot of trouble, and Sean telling Jo to stop cracking onto him. Also a bit in the gossip section about Judith McGrath and Wil Travel doing charity work in their down time.

I think the Cate/Jo/partying on storyline is my favourite ongoing storyline at the moment. I like seeing a completely different side to Cate and I think it's worth sacrificing Jo's character (Especially if she's only going to be around for a few more episodes) if it means developing Cate's character. I wonder what the long term consequences of her partying on will be? Perhaps a tragic accident or a *Major* stuff-up with a patient. It did cross my mind that perhaps the writers would do something similar to an assault storyline- Maybe in the finale?

Wasn't fussed about the way they portrayed Jo as stalkerish in the next ep - I so cannot see someone as funlovbing and loyal as her getting caught up over one guy.

An article and synopses in this week's TV Week about the season finale - the guy from a few weeks ago wouldcouldn't make up his mind if he wanted his son to die or not comes back with a vengance and two shots ring out, and Cate is admitted with drug OD.
Doesn't this whole shoot-out scenarioo sound a little, oh, I don't know, seasons 6/7 finale? At least they're waiting a few years instead of a few months to recycle their storylines...

The person who gets shot is... Bart!    I read it in one of those Soap mags when I was at the checkout yesterday. Apparantly a harness used in Mad Max was used in the gun shot episode (to pull Bart back to make the impact look authentic). Hope he pulls through. I won't be impressed if they write him out. Guess they'll leave us hanging until next year...

I think they could have chosen someone better than Bart to get shot. I wonder how they're going to play that.

Don't think they'll kill off Bart, he's to new a character. Reeally wish they'd write out Zoe, she does nothing for the show, IMHO.

This week's TV Week (and I'm sorry it took me so long, it's mostly unavailable right now!) features Jack's breakdown - he's having a hard time dealing with the reminder of his abuse, and has attached himself to a teenage patient who's being bullied. Also a bit about how Frank takes Bart home with him - I mean, can he get more obsessive/can Evie stand any more?

Also, according to another thread, Sean dies - I bloody well hope so, I'm sick of this whole 'too many cooks' thing going on with the cast.

I would prefer to lose Zoe, Gabrielle or Vincent. Sean is a bit bland, but he's slightly more interesting than the other guys. I really miss the great cast they had a few years ago - Jared, Connor, Terri, Steph, Bron etc.. They were all so interesting. I also really miss Jess.

You know what I really am wondering...how they are going to play the whole Evie and Frank being pregnant with Bart living with them. Franks feeling of responsibility towards Bart, but being torn to Evie and the pregnancy....I mean, any normal typical guy would probably let Bart move on with his recovery and let him move back home, thus letting Frank be with Evie to support her...but Frank ain't any normal typical guy is he?? hehehehe

    He's FRANK!!!
