Edith begs Ren to marry her again, but he convinces her Denise is still a looming threat. Herr Flick interrogates Leclerc, who maintains his innocence. Flick doesn't believe him, though, and announces that unless the money is returned, Leclerc will be executed by a firing squad. Von Strohm learns the two land mines (for the airmen's escape) has been stolen and gets nervous. He orders Gruber to talk to Ren and see if he knows anything about the land mines. At the Caf, Fanny for once gets out of bed to cook herself a big potato. Unfortunately, she has cooked the potato with the spy camera to photograph the German invasion plans with. Also, the forged money in the oven has been burned up so it's now impossible to return the money to Herr Flick in order to stop Leclerc's execution. Gruber flirts with Ren and says he can help get Leclerc free if the land mines are returned. Michelle and the airmen practice the escape plan, timing the unscrewing of the nuts from inside the land mines. Michelle refuses to return the land mines but contacts British intelligence to get replacement forgeries. However, the airdrop with the replacement forgeries is overdue and time is running out for Leclerc. Luckily, they arrive just in time.moreless
