The Gestapo suspects that the Colonel and the General are in on a plot to assassinate Hitler, so Herr Flick goes undercover as Private Irma Von Kinkenrotten (a secretary to replace Helga, who Flick has kidnapped - though she escape disguised as Flick himself) and plants a somewhat bizarre daffodil-shaped microphone in the Colonel's office, where Gruber and Von Strohm are making plans to get rid of Bertorelli in some way. Meanwhile, as Edith prepares for her wedding, and receives bouquets from fortune-hunting Capt. Bertorelli, Rene & Co. must get the aerial for their new radio above the jamming signal of Herr Flick, so they disguise Mimi as a small nun to obtain a box kite which they fly to contact London and request plastic explosive to blow up the safe in the General's chateau to get the British Invasion plans. Of course, Michelle has to nearly have a nervous breakdown in the Cafe before Rene agrees to this crazy plan. And unfortunately, Monsieur Alphonse catches Yvette and Rene having at it, so he considers Edith "back in play".moreless

The sight of mimi flying above the ground attached to a giant kite is indeed a most wonderful moment indeed. You only have to look at the German's reactions to figure that one out. Michelle definitely surpassed herself with that plan to use a kite to get above the germans radio jamming, which slipped out of rene's hands and the radio was on mimi's back. You also see at least one priceless moment in each episode and the best here is when von smallhausen lost his key, couldn't get in and knocked on the door and then blew it in with explosives leaving an impressive amount of smoke. Herr Flick got into Helga's clothes to go undercover, Helga took his instead and even did the limp.moreless

    • Goof: When kicking open the Colonel's doors, Richard Gibson accidentally breaks one of them, causing the set to wobble!

    • Colonel Von Strohm (asking the General if what he just saw would qualify as the sign Hitler needs to start the invasion of England): Would he regard a flying nun as a lucky omen? General Von Klinkerhoffen: I should think he'd be off tomorrow. Why do you ask?

    • (René asks one question too many.) Michelle: Why is it that you always question my decisions? Do you think you could do my job better? Do you think you could run the Resistance, keeping everyone happy, deciding who to shoot, what to blow up, making threatening calls? Do you know what my telephone bill is every month?

    • (Monsieur Alphonse catches René canoodling with Yvette and is insulted by René's betrayal of Edith.) Monsieur Alphonse: From now on, monsieur, the gloves are off and I will press my suit. I intend telling her everything I've seen. René: Oh, but, Monsieur Alphonse, a Frenchman does not tell on another Frenchman. Monsieur Alphonse: It is true. But I have Belgian blood on my mother's side.
