A wild gust of wind blows Ally's hat off her head, and lands on a "For Sale" sign of an abandoned home. Drawn to it, Ally makes an offer, and purchases the home, much to everyone's misgivings. Her coworkers and even her therapist call the home a dump, and feel she bought it as more of a personal issue, rather than desire for a home. Elaine questions whether or not this step means Ally's given up hope of finding a mate, when she buys the house alone. Ally assures her it isn't. Richard offers to help Ally work on the house, and proves himself pretty useless, until he enlists the help of the rest of the firm. In the midst of bickering about male/female roles, the crew manages a miraculous transformation, and even finds her a coat rack-Ally's indication of it being a "home." Ally states pride at being able to buy this house and fix it up on her own, without a mate.
In other stories, Ally defends Michael, a man being sued by his wife for his excessive spending and fraud. He's so enamored of her, he's spending out of control on gifts for her. Ally argues the case, and wins it, but tells Michael in the end that he really didn't deserve to win. He still loves his wife, but she won't take him back. In other happenings, Jenny has a neck injury, and gets a referral from Coretta to her chiropractor, with amazing results-and not just to her neck. His massage chair is also a hit for Jenny, as she orgasms while there. Turns out Coretta has too. Overhearing this, Nelle also pays a visit, with similar enjoyment. This info makes Glenn and other guys distraught.
