Episode Summary

EDIT
Judge Whipper Cone asks Ally to take on a pro-bono case of a young prostitute up on her third solicitation charge. Fish, meanwhile, wants to sue his uncle's church for discrimination, due to his uncle's overt bigotry towards vertically challenged people (short people). The church's contention is that they cannot support bigotry of any kind and allowing the uncle a service and proper burial is tantamount to endorsing the appalling views. Fish promises he will not propagate the attitudes in his eulogy. Renée talks Ally into double dating with the salad-dressing-on-the-chin guy if the Biscuit is invited.moreless

      • Billy: This political-correctness thing is out of control. First we say you can't act with prejudice. That's fine. Then we say you can't have prejudices. Now we're saying you can't even talk about somebody else's prejudices! This isn't civil rights, Your Honor. It's censorship.

      • Renée: What about you and the doughboy?
        Ally: Me and John Cage?
Renée: Mm-hmm. When you think about it, Ally, you both kind of circle the Earth in similar orbits.

      • Ally: (to John) I probably wouldn't consider dating you because you're my boss and we work together. But otherwise, yeah, I would consider it. I'm sure I would. Otherwise.

      • Richard: Life is just a stupid game. It doesn't matter what you do or what you have. If you're loved in the end, then you win.

      • Ally: Demure is in, Renée, and you scare men.
Renée: Scare men? Yeah, I scare them stiff. That's what I do.
