      • John: How old were you when your parents divorced?
Nelle: What makes you think my parents divorced?
        John: How old?
        Nelle: (sighs) Six.
        John: Hurt a lot, huh?
Nelle: John, if this is some weak attempt to get me to open up... I don't do that.
        John: Hurt a lot.
Nelle: I had a pretty great childhood, actually. Two houses, two rooms, two sets of clothes. I even had two favorite teddy bears, one for each bed, how many kids get that?
John: Well, too many I suppose.

      • John: Just to clarify, you're not a mother?
        Margaret Camaro: No.
John: Ever been called one to your knowledge?

      • Richard: Women, the period once a month, thats good for 3 days sub-performance. PMS, tack on another day. Add the 3.2 more hrs per month women spend in the bathroom doing either makeup, hair, who knows. And the single ones, forget it! All they want is to meet a man. Actually, Ally, maybe we should introduce you as an exhibit.

      • Billy: Why do therapists always have to talk about sex?
Dr. Hooper: What can I say, Freud was a perv.
