Episode Recap

Ally's romantic quandaries continue, as always, with the new "boy" in the picture. She dreams about him, and consults her therapist again about him. She even goes as far as to mention her interest in him and his interest in her. Unfortunately, he tells her he has none. Later, in talking with Raymond about his interest in Ally, Glenn starts to come to terms with his own, though encouraging Ray as well. Both Ally and Glenn later state Jenny's feelings as a concern prior to anything happening between the two of them. Jenny has just told Ally that she wishes she would date Glenn, though. But was she sincere? Or, just feeling up about the $15 million settlement she, Glenn, and Ally had obtained in Jenny's class action suit against the phone companies, as repped by Raymond?

John returns after his "week at the spa" with his new buff body suit by Coretta. Jaws drop as John sports his new look. He's uncertain, and unsure about broaching his feelings with Ally. Richard talks him into voicing his desires, but also tells John that Ally will reject him, but that John should do it for himself, to prove he can make this statement to a woman. In a touching scene, John tells Ally of his interest. Ally initially laughs, thinking it is a joke, but later tells John that she loves him, and wants him to also love her, but just not in a romantic sense. John later apologizes for his pressure on Ally at that moment, but not for the words he spoke or the chance he took. He appears proud of his declaration, even with the poor result.

Ling forces the firm to hold a goodbye party for her, as she cannot work at the firm any longer since she is a judge. She requests that The Boy (Glenn) since Sinatra for her, but her stares at Ally often while singing it, which doesn't go unnoticed by Jenny.
