So the episode is called the wedding and as mentioned in the "notes" section on the page for this episode, there was supposed to be a wedding between Ally and Larry. I watched Ally McBeal when it originally aired in the early 2000's but I missed most of the fourth season and all of the fifth season, I then bought the complete series box set last year (2010) in January and my blu-ray player would not(!) play the disks....

I did a firmware update recently and suddenly the disks worked and I am now on season 5 of Ally McBeal. Why did i give you that long-winded story? because I knew from the beginning that RDJ was "fired" from the show. I knew Ally doesn't end up with him, and I used to believe that her soulmate died with Billy. nope, this episode is ABSOLUTELY heartbreaking, because we all know that she (Ally)should be with Larry, and because of the mistakes of the actor who played him, the writers had to make up some excuse for the two not to be together. so sad. and i love (!) RDJ, but seriously, i HATE how their relationship ended as a result of his bad decisions :(
