I WAS STARTING TO LIKE THIS SHOW. HAVEN'T SEEN KARL IN A LONG TIME AND REALLY ENJOYED HIS CHARACTER. THE BEST PART WAS THAT A 'LOVE TRIANGLE' WAS JUST STARTING AND IT ENDED BEFORE GETTING OFF THE GROUND. DISAPPOINTED !!
  • the end

This was the end of this promising series, which we now know didn't get renewed. I thought the idea behind the series was good ( awful introductory voiceover though), but they just didn't use these ideas to their full potential. It was mostly like a buddy cop show which just happened to have an android and takes place in the future. What was missing was the arc behind it all ( and I don't mean the question behind the shooting of Kennex in the beginning). There was the wall which was mentioned a few times, but which we never found out more about. There is the questions of androids and what they are in relation to humans, the question of the chromes, and many more things which could have been explored in an interesting and thought provoking way. Instead we get police procedurals of the week and a lot of missed opportunities, like the review of Dorian in this episode, which could have brought us a bit more background on androids, what was up with the malfunction of the DRNs, rights of androids and so on. This just felt very flat to me. We also never find out how Kennex feels about Dorian being an android or if he now thinks of him being equal to humans.

This show gets a lot of points for their two charming leads, but the other characters were a bit underdeveloped ( except for Rudy, but he was more a walking cliche, the science nerd).

I don't think they planned this episode as a finale. It seems more that they just axed it midseason.moreless

  • That was the finale !!!

I've liked the show, it has a few problems. But it's fun.

But that for a finale? Do they not want to get renewed or what!
  • Very disappointing finale for such a brilliant show

Very disappointing finale for such a brilliant show, None of the on going storylines from past episodes were addressed, such as the scientist that went over the wall or Dorian's 'memories', instead they went with a stand alone episode, which, for this show, was dull and very un-finale like.
