It's called "Alvin and the Chipmunks Deux". I saw it on Wikipedia.com, I typed in "Alvin and the Chipmunks" and under the artical "The Chipmunks Future" it tells a little about the next movie. It just says what actors / voice actors are returning, what actors / voice actors are new to this film and new charactors, like The Chipettes.

lol, thats wonderful. I hope its as good as the first one. Its a really good idea to add the Chipettes to the sequel. The first movie actually made me cry in a few places, particularly when the Chipmunks are singing The Christmas Song. It brought back a lot of very fond childhood memories.

I'm very much looking forward to a sequel.

Wikipedia isn't always correct with everything and there have been alot of times where they've had news on there that's turned out to be false later like 'The Alvin Show' being released on a complete series boxset late last year.

I hope they're right this time cause my only complant is I thought The Chipmunks movie was too short. Besides there's only one thing that I thought might not be true on Wikipedia, they claim that a third Ghostbusters film is in the makein' (Ghostbusters in Hell, or something like that) It's also suppost to be completely CG.

I just thought I let you all know that The Alvin Show complete series box set, on Wikipedia it says this, is due to be out mid may 2008.

Well, we can only hope they're right about that.

They are right quite a bit of the time. I think its exagerated how often Wikipedia is wrong.

Thought I'd let you know they have references down on the bottom of the page. Here's link to a story for the sequel. http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/01/09/alvin-the-chipmunks-to-meet-chipettes-in-sequel/

If there is a second movie, what music numbers do you want to see in it?

Personally, i'd like it if "Alvin's Orchestra" "Alvin's Harmonica" and the Chipmunks and the Chipettes singing "We are the Boys/Girls of Rock and Roll" were in it.

Maybe they could open up either the movie or one of their concerts with a remix to the 80's theme song. But then again maybe they should leave that song alone.

    *Sighs*

    Well, that just stinks.

    Oh well,

Well, look at it this way, the film IS popular enough to get a sequel. It may still happen one day. Just not now.

I can't find the Wikipedia page for it.

However, this article from MTV talks about the movie, so it really can't be just a Wikipedia scam.

    YAY!

    The movie is BACK ON!!!

I can't believe it, the Wikipedia artical is gone again. It was up for like one day. Either someone has nothing better to do than to post false articals & screw with everyone about a movie that I think everyone would love to see or they don't have all the facts about it yet and don't wanna post it until they get em.

I vote for someone screwing with us.
