  • A rather grim episode among all the Spielberg cutesiness.

I'm sure all the families tuning in for this episode weren't expecting serial killings and violence after all the family oriented cuteness of the previous stories. This is perhaps the one Amazing Story with some teeth. Gregory Hines is great as the psychic who finds out a murderer was in the audience. He then gets into a cat and mouse game with the killer. Wonderful interplay, nice nod to Hitchcock's Psycho with the mounted birds in the apartment. Forget about the wonder and magic of childhood in this one. Not the greatest mystery ever, too few characters not to guess the killer, but excellent suspence throughout.
