The church board inherits a French restaurant. But the terms of the will state that as long as it is a success, they can never sell it.
  • A member of the congregation bequeaths a restaurant to the church board. Soon, the deacon has taken over management of the posh eatery and gets everyone else to help.

This is a somewhat cliched sitcom story (it's been done to better effect on 'I Love Lucy,' 'Laverne & Shirley' & 'Frasier'), but it's still fun to watch. It's great that they get all dressed up and go high-class in this one. An added plus is the inclusion of recurring guest star Franklyn Seales as the snobby Lorenzo. There are some cute comic bits involving the food and interaction with the customers. But probably the best moment is when they try to sabotage the success of their culinary venture and turn on a huge fan that literally blows patrons out the door!moreless
