In this episode, we have Sherman Hemsley in two get-ups. First, he's dressed as a plumber trying to fix the church's pipes. Then, he wears a pink dress, hat and ladies gloves in an attempt to help Thelma make clothes. But it is not just Hemsley's episode. Anna Maria Horsford gets a great scene where Thelma tries to help Reuben counsel a recent widow, only to cause even more grief and suffering. Finally, there's a moment where the grass outside the church is more than a bit soggy because of the plumbing. As Reuben delivers a speech at an Interfaith gathering, the ground begins to give way and they all sink.moreless
