The Sylvers returned to "American Bandstand" for another excellent performance. In this summer episode, the family group performed the stellar disco remake of "Mahogany," which showcased the vocals of both Edmund and sister Angie on lead. The choreography - always top notch from the Sylvers - was superb and the crowd loved the number.
Following an interview with Dick Clark (in which viewers find out that Angie actually lost her top at a recent live show!), the group introduced the next single from the "Disco Fever" LP, "Dance Right Now."
Edmund would leave the group a year later, and this would be his final appearance on AB.
The Sylvers would return one final time in 1985 before disbanding.
