Dick Clark introduced the Sylvers by showing off the cover of their new LP, "Something Special." As the opening chords to "Hot Line" filled the studio, the crowd started bopping along as the brothers and sisters performed some of their best dance moves yet.
Dressed in sparkling new sweaters emblazened with the letter "S," the group finished their latest top 5 hit with resounding applause from the audience.
Following a brief interview, the Sylvers launched into their next single, the cheerleading anthem, "High School Dance," in which Edmund, Leon, and Foster shared lead and the sisters harmonizing beautifully throughout.
Disco percussionist Cerrone wowed the crowd with his latest single later in the program.
