American Dad!

Stan does a cannonball into a pool at a party, but he accidentally takes a dump. This makes him a laughinstock, so he and his family move out of Langley Falls. However, it seems that wherever they go, someone will recognize Stan for what he did at the pool (ah, the powers of the internet). Then, he realizes a way out of this; get someone famous, like the president of the United States, to crap his pants in a pool. Will his plan work?

What i liked- the ending, the revelation that Roger filmed Stan and was the one to put it on the internet, Stan repeatedly moving himself and his family away, etc. However, I'm not so sure of the Ground Zero line by Roger, about him being there selling T-Shirts, nor did I like Stan killing the guy who found out his secret. Nor did I like Klaus dying. But then it is revealed the whole episode was a fantasy, that none of the events happened, and that made the episode feel odd. B- or so as my final grade. Odd episode but it had its moments

In preparation for a neighborhood pool party, Stan tells his family to get in tip-top shape. But when an accident ruins the Smith family name, a humiliated Stan fakes his family's deaths and moves everyone out of Langley Falls to escape his shame.

Overall a superb episode of American Dad that receives a 9 out of 10 from me.

Let's face the facts: this season of American Dad! is turning out to be a very mediocre one for me (too many Roger episodes, in my opinion). In this episode, we the the extremely hilarious (sarcastic) Stan taking a dump (really) while catapulting into a pool. He then takes his family away from Langley Falls to get away from the humiliation. The rest is history, I guess you might say, with the exception that it all turned out to be a deja vu, though he later actually jumps into the pool and actually has an "incident". What ruined this episode was that the jokes revolved all around Stan and his "incident", as the title of this episode suggests. There have only been a few episodes of this season's American Dad! that I have considered very good. Although this episode wasn't one of those "very good" ones, it definitely wasn't the worst one.

While American Dad may not have as much controversial humor as Family Guy, AD definitely pushes the envelope in a way few other programs do. How many other shows would have a cartoon Barack Obama swimming around in a pool? American Dad, that's about it.



While I could not in good conscience call this a great episode, this was a must-watch for its pure outrageousness, outrageousness that surprisingly came courtesy of Stan and not Roger. If you listen to the dialogue, even the characters that are on screen for about 30 seconds, you will just see how clever the writing for American Dad really is. I think that is one of the reasons I constantly write positive reviews for it. It may not always be the funniest show, it may have an episode about "poop", but this is a smart television program.

this was a great episode of american dad here is a summary stan goes to a barbaque and he gos off the diving board and when he land in the pool he takes a crap and everybody laughs at him for it. so he fakes his death so the family can go live somewhere else and start a knew life. it was a great episode it had a good plot not a great one but what made it a great episode was stan taking everything to seriously he tries to live in may different places but people figure out that hes the one who crapped in the pool so stan burns down the place and moves on to another place.
