  • Very funny episode.

When Stan is up for a promotion, he asks his family to be on their best behavior at the CIA picnic. Unfortunately, Hayley ends up getting into a fight with Stan's boss, Bullock, which makes Stan think his chances for the promotion are ruined. But when Stan goes to Bullock's house to apologize for Hayley's behavior, he's shocked to discover Bullock's new woman. In my opinion, the first episode on the show (and season 1) itself to gets a perfect score. I liked every single moments of it. Season 1 did got better after Deacon Stan, Jesus Man although there were a couple more weaker episodes. The story line was very funny. Of course, Bullock made this episode really funny. His role in this episode was very hilarious such as when was on the Smith's house singing. The other plot where Steve and Roger was calling other countries' was very funny as well. I liked the fight scene with Stan and Bullock near the end. Also, I liked the montage with Stan training Jeff. I had more funny parts for this episode. Overall 10/10.

Avery and Haley get in a fight and Stan is mad at Haley for what she said to his boss. He goes over to Bullock's house where he sees Haley, and he learns they are going out. Stan is furious, and so he tries to get Jeff to get back together with his daughter.

What I liked: the break-up scene between Jeff and Haley, Stan trying to teach Jeff how to be more assertive (This is an apple, burying him, etc), and I really liked the outcome of the episode. It was not the best episode of the series or anything but it was really entertaining, and as such, my final grade is a B+.

In this episode, Stan is up for a promotion at his job, but he has to survive a CIA carnvial. Unfortunately, Hayley screws it up by being liberal to Mr. Bullock, Stan's boss. Stan then tell him to go apologize, but when he comes the next morning, he's discovered that they're dating! Also, Steve and Roger crank call other nations with Dick Chaney's Blackberry. This episode was hilarious all around, the prank calls were hilarious, especially when they *67'd by Argentina. The main plot was also hilarious with scenes like Stan's boss getting dumped right when he gives Stan his promotion. The ending with everyone getting beat up and then it turns out to be faked was a little odd, but I liked how Mr. Bullock thought Jeff was playing along, when he obviously wasn't. A classic episode for sure. 10/10 A+
  • An instant classic.

This episode has so many funny parts along with 3 great stortylines. The hillarious storylines are the Stan,Bullock, and Haley storyline, the storyline were Steve and Roger mess around with people with Dick Chenney's blackberry, and the Klaus commentary storyline. Some hillarious parts are when Stan finds a mistake in his own daydream and when Klaus commentates. Also it was hillarious when Roger calls a country's leader and says that he (prentending to be another country) he like likes him and then you se the country he was prank calling move real close to the country Roger was pretending to be and he gives the guy who Roger prank called a weird look and it was hillarious when Bullock was about to announce Stan's promotion and Haley broke up with him and he started crying on live tv. Overall an episode with in my top 10.

But when Stan goes to Bullock's house to apologize for Hayley's behavior, he's shocked to discover Bullock's new woman. Can you believe that Haley is sleeping with Stan's boss?? The "B" story line was even funnier with Steve finding Dick Chenney's Blackberry and Roger and Steve start prank calling the most powerful nations of the world. Not as good as some of the other episodes, but still a decent episode...
  • Bullocks To Stan.

This was just downright brilliant, credit to anyone that worked on this episode, Claus making commentary on Stan bashing the crap out of Bullock, the thing at the end, Hayley being a slut always great, the coffee joke awesome, and of course Stan's little vision of killing bullock and making errors in and of course killing the blind man that says I didn't see anything, all of this was just great, really great.

The Bullock and Hayley plot was great, Stan turning Jeff into more of a man-hilarious and the whole Roger and Steve thing calling all the numbers in the blackberry or whatever and making trouble, was hilarious.

This is probaply my favourite episode, but I'm not sure, if not 2nd or 3rd.

Hayley ends up dating Stan's boss, Bullock. What can be more awkward than finding out that your teenage daughter is dating your boss? “Bullocks to Stan” is certainly one of the funniest episodes of “American Dad”. I had my doubts that “American Dad” would measure up with “Family Guy” but with funny episodes like this, the animated series should have a lengthy run on television. Stan will do anything to win a promotion. He will even allow his boss and daughter to continue their spicy romance despite Francine’s objections. When Hayley decides to return to her previous boyfriend Jeff, Bullock makes a spectacle on national television and orders Stan to kill Jeff. Steve and Roger have fun using the Vice-President’s blackberry to make pranks on foreign countries. There is plenty of sexual humor throughout this episode. The fight scene in the diner certainly drew my attention. Klaus’ thorough commentary of the fight was very funny. Patrick Stewart delivers an over-the-top comic performance. It’s hard picturing Patrick Stewart singing “Little Girls” but he was both funny and memorable. Don’t miss out on “Bullocks to Stan”.
  • Hailey sleeps with Stan's boss!

    9.9

Quite disturbing when you think about it (an 18 year old daughter of a CIA agent having an affair with her father’s boss old enough to be her grandfather), the episode is definitely funny especially Stan’s gullibility at the end of the episode, actually believing it was all a test, despite the numerous evidence against this excuse.

Hailey’s rebelliousness is quite clear in this episode and it is the first to explore her character in this much depth (and hilarity).

Stan is probably the funniest character in the episode, due to his reaction and numerous one-liners throughout the episode, but all the characters have their moments and this episode truly belongs with the best episodes of the series.

  • fantastic episode. so politically incorrect! yet so funny

    High-Larious. very funny episode.

American Dad goes places you couldnt imagine.

i thought Family Guy pushed the boundaries, but American Dad has no boundaries, which is fantastic.

it is the most politically incorrect show.

i dont think i stopped laughing until about the last 2 mins, when it had its serious part, where it was just wierd, but fantastic, which was just a rest on my worn out stomach from laughter.

fantastic episode from a brilliantly comedic series, this is my favorite episode to date. this show never fails to dissapoint.

as a huge Family Guy fan, American Dad has just proved that it can do what Family guy can not.

If i am not in stitches from laughter, i am laughing so hard because i cannot believe what i just saw.

    fantastic episode!

    five stars
  • Excellent way to kick off the new season

I'm definetely pleased with this episode, however I feel that the usual political jokes and other material that some viewers (idiots) may find offensive might've been hampered by the fact that the episode was aired on September 11th. Could be my imagination, but perhaps the censors were being a bit harsh. Did anyone think that the WMD stall had a subtle joke in it, whereby the shot of people looking for WMDs was held for quite a while, to indicate that there aren't any there (and there never was.) Also, I think the classification options you're given when you are writing a review are very poor. Should be able to write our own

American Dad was very funny last night infact best episode of the season. Not as good as The Simpsons and Family Guy but it's definately getting their.

    Guest Star: Patrick Stewart

Best Moment: Prank calling all the countries.

I suggest seeing this episode really good stuff and when the dvd comes out I'll be first in line

I was extremely disappointed with the first season of American Dad, with its lackluster plot and a stereotypical cast of character that really went nowhere for the entire first season. This season premiere changed all of that, it was by far the strongest show on fox last night. Kudos all around. I love how cleverly plotted this episode was, everything was building up to the final moments when bullocks hilariously tried to lie his way out of certain death by Stan the Man. I am looking forward to next week's episdoe

Wow...thats all i could say after that..wow. Brought me back to the first times i watched Family Guy. Couldn\'t stop laughing. I was truly waiting for family guy premier but was ashamed by its performance. But this just blew it out of the water. My new show to watch. This is purposely offensive comedy at its best. A must watch. Can\'t wait to see the next one.

I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite episodes so far.

Patrick Stewart\'s guest appearance on this show is making it even more unusual and bizarre, as expected by any show masterminded by the incredibly talented Seth MacFarlane. Patrick is definitely a good sport and has a wicked sense of humor. Most of his peers would deem it unfit to appear on such an eccentric program but just like in old days he put all that aside and went with what he thought was great television.

Just like he brushed off any comment on his appearance on Star Trek (by claiming that after so many Shakespearean roles, acting as a king, he never felt comfortable on any throne as he did on the Captain\'s chair)

Kudos to him and anyone like him who stands up for good Television.

This was a great start to the new season. I wasn't all too thrilled with the first, but I'm now actually looking forward to new episodes after watching this one.

I thought they could have caused a lot more mischief with Dick Cheney's blackberry. Guess What? Chicken Butt just isn't that funny.
  • but still really funny! I do prefer fsmily guy over american dad and the reason is that family guy is still 'American' but would still be famous internationally and is menat for everyday normal people but American dad is really meant for 'Americany' peopl

but still really funny! I do prefer fsmily guy over american dad and the reason is that family guy is still 'American' but would still be famous internationally and is menat for everyday normal people but American dad is really menat for 'Americany' people. This episode was very policital and informative for the peopel of America, but I'm not sure about it appealing to very large or a different variety of audiences. There were many funny lines and situations in todays episodes but so far not a good season's start. But nice, I'm still gonna kep on watching the show.
  • Greatest American Dad Thus Far

    "Perfect"
I have been very critical of American Dad. I believed that the show was trying too hard to be funny and that Stan comes off as an unattractive, unlikeable character. This episode remedies all of that. Stan came off as a stronger character and is far more loveable this season than he was during the first. Patrick Stewart, Seth & Rachael MacFarlane, and the entire cast were wonderful. This is a must see episode for Family Guy and American Dad fans.
  • By far the best episode of American Dad. In this episode, it seems like they tried to stop focusing only on "crossing the line" of whats on network TV, and put actual effort into the show itself with a great story, great laughs, and great end.

I really enjoyed this episode, and i dont typically enjoy this show. I felt like it was family guy pushing the envelope even further, but with this episode, it went another way, and actually focused on what the show had, and made a great storyline out of it. I was laughing through every part w/ Dick Cheney's Blackberry, and that the fish was doing commentary like a dvd special feature. This is what the show should be, and i hope this is what it will be next week.
