Stan becomes jealous when he finds out Francine was once engaged to a pilot whose plane crashed. Little does she know that her lost love is still alive, but when Stan and Roger track him down, Francine is forced to choose between the two men.

Overall, Stan was quite ridiculous in this episode. Overall it is a 5 out of 10
Mediocre.

What I liked: Steve's dream about the cat in the middle of the episode, only to have it be revealed it was a wet dream, the cat at the end of the episode, Roger and Stan fighting on the island, Francine pretending to like the pilot to get back at Stan, amongst other things.

I have a feeling this show has a lot of episodes where Stan and Francine fight, kind of like The Simpsons with Homer and Marge. Only problem is this same story formula gets tired after a little while. However, now this time. This was still a pretty good episode, despite the fact they've already done a couple marriage episodes. Final grade is a solid B.moreless

Good episode of "American Dad!" I was never really a huge fan of this show just because I always thought of it as a carbon copy of Family Guy (only significantly worse), but this episode managed to bring some laughs.

I noticed the Macfarlane-esque humor, the story line felt all too familiar to when Peter was stranded and Brian ended up marrying Lois on Family Guy, but I decided to disregard the similarities.

Family Guy has been getting ridiculous, and this episode was not that at all. No poop jokes here, or ridiculous musical numbers (thank god!), so I think this is a promising series, lets just hope it doesn't go downhill like Family Guy did.moreless

Paranoia, Cats, Seagulls and Stan...

This is a great episode. It balances a health dose of Stan paranoia, Steve fantasy and oh yeah did I mention Seagulls? Stan believes his wife settled for him and settles himself on a plan to test his wife's love. Things go awry as they often do and he ends up on a deserted island with Roger. He quickly overcomes his fear of seagulls and for some reason find the whole seagull thing to be hilarious. Stan eats them and tries to make a raft out of them, whereas Roger "passes a beak", lassos 13 in an attempt to fly him to safety, and of course is first seen covered in their poo. The subplot is also pretty funny with Steve trying to win the love of a beat up cat. I am not sure entirely why this episode is fun but it is. It is definitely one of my favorites of the series.moreless

Season 4 continues to produce amazing episodes like this one. Roger and Stan were very funny in this episode like when Stan said rather act crazy then be crazy I am going to write that down oh just forgot and when Roger said oh I thought I was your ship I felt you farting yeah I felt that. The Steve storyline was so funny every time that cat attacked steve I lost it but the funniest attack was when he finished playing the cello and he fought Simon The Cat was so funny. This was alot better then Baby Not On Board the Family Guy episode that aired on the same night.moreless
