After Roger and Francine are victims of a mugging, Roger joins the police academy so he can learn how to defend himself and his loved ones, but he falls in with a corrupt cop who leads him astray. Meanwhile, Hayley's new friendship threatens her long-term relationship. I thought this was a superb episode of American Dad. My score is lower because some were boring and Hayley's plot was a little boring. Other than that, the episode was pretty much good. It had some laughs such as Klaus' cameo, Roger not doing well at the police academy, Roger saying if you're happy and you know clap your hands, Barry does so, Snot cries, Roger as a dirty cop[, Stan's phone call to Bullock ("no it's not nude picture."), and the ending. Overall, a superb episode. 9/10

I was waiting for them to produce an episode like this ever since this series began. After fleeing while Francine gets robbed like a coward, a disgraced Roger decides to redeem himself by joining the police force and catching the robber. At first, he acts in form by helping out a crooked cop; however, he makes up for it by saving Stan's life for the third time when the cooked cop tries to kill him for knowing too much.
It was getting pretty agravating seeing Roger as a sociopath as he commits crime after sin and getting away from it more often than not. I wanted to see him get his commupence more often or at least show he has some shred of a conscinece. He did in this episode re-affirming my belief that there is some bit of goodnes in everyone. An excellent installment.
this was an amazing episode of american dad and one of my favorites. so what happens is roger sees francine get mugged but he cant do anything about it because hes to weak to fight back, roger ends up blaming himself but wants to get into the police force that way hell be strong and stan helps him get into the police acadamey but then the episode takes a turn and theres a plot twist. this was a great episode of american dad the plot was original and the jokes were funny. . . . . . . . .
Finally American Dad is back! After a two month hiatus and FOX introducing another awful sitcom in Sons of Tuscon, the best animated show on TV returned with fresh episodes to the 9:30 PM slot on Sunday.
And the show returned with a pretty good episode to boot as well. A Roger-centric episode doesn't sound too promising with the way the character has regressed the past few seasons, but this was a funny one tonight. Plus, you're guaranteed to laugh at a character voiced by Seth MacFarlane, so it can't be all bad.
The ending sequence with the flying elbow busting open the guy's head was a little bit weird, but the comedy was excellent here, and this show's action scenes have always been a tad askew, to say the last.
The koala was awesome again this week. Had to point that out too.
I really liked this episode with the interactions between Stan and Roger. I always like seeing how despite how he acts Roger really does admire Stan and I also liked seeing Stan portrayed as something other than the bumbling idiot for once.
I didn't really like the Hayley and Reginald story. I get that they were trying to make a humorous illusion to like soap plots but they just ended up doing one of those soap plots, there was nothing funny about it other than the fact that Reginald is a koala bear.
My favorite throw-away moment was Steve coming down the stairs in his rollerblades and cursing Roger hehe.
I am glad though to see that American dad is back on track although I think 2 Rogercentric episodes in a row is a bit much. Looking forward to the next ep.
this was an amazing episode it was about francine getting mugged and roger couldnt do a thing because he was to weak so stan helps get roger into the police force. it was a great episode and possibly the best episode of american dad definitely in the top 5. there was a good twist in it and it was a amazingly well written episode. it was interesting to see roger as the good guy. this show is great every episode is entertaining the staff working on american dad is a great writing staff. . . . . . . .
