Why Christmas episode was pulled

    You might already know, but yesterday's new AD Christmas episode was pulled and aired a repeat instead due to the unfortunate event that happened on Friday in Connecticut. http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/12/15/new-family-guy-american-dad-episodes-pulled-due-to-connecticut-school-shooting

    I'm guessing that since it was a Christmas one, they might not air it until next Dec.

    I sure hope I don't have to wait until next year to see it, it will probably air sometime in January/Februrary. I don't get why FOX pulled the episode and the Family Guy one as well, I really don't see how they had any connections to the tragedy. I think it's just a case of FOX being over-sensitive.

    EDIT: Ok the Family Guy episode will be airing this sunday as it wasmostly pulled due to the whole religious theme, but unfortunately the AD episode actually does have gun violence, so it hasn't been rescheduled yet. But i'm sure it'll air sometimeearly next year, just cause it's a Christmas episode dosen't mean it will be postponed for that long, The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror specialsused to premiere in November for awhile, so I don't think FOX will have issues airing a Christmas episode in January/February.

    ^Thanks for that information, I was unaware of why Family Guy's episode got pulled and thought it was cancelled for the season. I didn't know that AD had gun violence....I hope they can air it next year.

    Well a new AD will air tonight, but not the Christmas one. The Christmas FG will air through.
