According to the DVD commentary, Kevin Bacon was asked to voice himself during the part where he is arrested, but he turned the role down.
The man that Roger runs over is the same guy, who walked slowly in front of Stan's car in the episode, "Finance's With Wolves."

Langley Falls Post front page headline: "Childhood Obesity Up, Pedophilia Down."
Steve: (whispering about the young child on the swing set) There he is! Roger: That little feelings-hurter is about to eat crow! I'm going to rub his nose in my nose! Young Child: Mommy, look! It's the monster! (Roger gasps) Young Child: The monster from the hit movie Hallow Man! Woman: Oh my god! It IS Kevin Bacon! Normally I'd chastise you for watching an R-rated movie... but Kevin Bacon is an American treasure! Even when he's playing an invisible rapist!
Roger: Mirror, mirror, on the wall... let's see how you like it on the floor! (Grabs mirror and smashes it on the floor)
Francine: What about Sanjen? I can't have an Indian baby! I don't even like Indian food!
Francine: You bastard! (Francine punches Stan in the face, knocking the clothes pin off his nose) Stan: (sniffing) Ugh! Oh God, it's like being in a sauna with Michael Chiklis! Francine: You made me think I was a murderer?! Do you have any idea what a nightmare you put me through?! I prayed to a freaking elephant! How am I gonna explain THAT to Jesus?!
Francine: (Teaching Indian children) Okay, children, pay attention, because you need to learn English to survive. Repeat after me: "Thank you for calling Apple Tech Support." Indian Children: (in unison): Thank you for call Apple Tech Support. (a bloodcurdling human scream is heard from off camera) Francine: There's the bell. I'll see all of you who don't die of cholera tomorrow at eight. (a sickly-looking wolf effortlessly grabs one of the Indian boys and drags him off)
Stan: Is that her? Francine: Where? Stan: In the red hat. Francine: That's a hat rack. Stan: Yeah, yeah, the hat rack. Is that her? Francine: No, I don't think that's her.
Steve: Geez, Roger, you're making Kevin Bacon look like a total douche. Hayley: Yeah, you may be beautiful on the outside like Kevin Bacon, but you're ugly on the inside like Tommy Lee Jones... on the outside... and the inside.
Steve: Roger, we can't keep doing this. Hayley: Yeah, I mean, it's stealing. Roger: Oh, oh, excuse me, are you an ethicist? Are you? Is there an ethicist in the house?! Woman: I'm an ethicist. Roger: Well, screw you, I'm Kevin Bacon!
Man #1: (about Roger) Kevin Bacon! Man #2: Stir of Echoes! Man #3: Tremors won three Saturn Awards! Man #4: What's a Saturn Award? Woman: You're missing the point. Man #4: You're right, sorry. That's Kevin Bacon! Hayley: (to Roger) They think you're Kevin Bacon. Roger: Yes, Hayley, I understand things that happen around me.
Hayley: Hey, Roger, we have something that might cheer you up. Roger: Don't look at me, I'm hideous! I'm a noseless freak! Steve: Not anymore. Roger: "Rick Baker's Celebrity Nose Kit?" Steve: They're latex copies of actual celebrity noses. Roger: (Gasps) Just like porn stars do with their genitals!
Stan: I cannot hear those words again, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep her from saying them, as God is my witness! (Lightning strikes) Klaus: Weird, not a cloud in the sky. Stan: Yeah, I know. Must be heat lightning.
Stan: Oh, my God! Is she dead? Bullock: Quite. Stan: Boy, you are rusty.
Melinda: Oh, God, Francine, please tell me this is my blind date's dad!
Francine: I told you so!
This is the first appearance of Avery Junior.

Rick Baker Roger's nose comes from Rick Baker's Celebrity Nose Kit. This is reference to how successful Baker has been in his makeup career.
Roger: I have lost half a pound since Tuesday. This is a reference to a line from the 1950 film Sunset Boulevard.
Star Trek: The Next Generation An aquarium can be seen in Bullocks' home similar to the one in Captain Picard's ready room. Picard was also played by Patrick Stewart.
Fargo The way Stan disposes Melinda's dead body in a wood chipper is similar to the way Gaear Grimsrud, acted by Peter Stormare, disposes the body of Carl Showalter, acted by Steve Buscemi, in this movie.
Melinda and Melinda The naming of Francine's friend Melinda is a reference to the 2005 Woody Allen film Melinda and Melinda. It features two separate stories in both of which a husband and wife discuss setting up the wife's friend Melinda on a date.
