This episode seemed off at first. The whole Grease musical number right out of the blue seemed something from Family Guy... and they never really explained it. Seemed really off for the show.

The rest of the episode was great. Unlike their brother show, American Dad actually have Stand and Francine work on their relationship and we can believe they love each other (though I do question whenever they undermine each other) while with Peter and Lois in Family Guy, your left wondering, if not doubting their relationship and that they are happy with each other.

My favorite part is then Stan and Francine are "separated" and celebrating the holidays with the family.moreless

"Home Wrecker" was an interesting episode of American Dad. It explored a topic that has been explored by the show a dozen times, Stan and Francine separating, but they did it in a very humorous way. From the mocking of the cliche where the separated couple meets in the super market and he sees her new boyfriend, only for it to be some random guy kissing her, to Terry's angry musical performance, this episode had a lot of laughs, but it also had a good life lesson about how families need to make sacrifices to survive.

And the Rainman references with Barry saying, "Definitely, definitely a four." Pure genius. Definitely, definitely a good episode of American Dad tonight.moreless
