When Steve's new relationship with his girlfriend gives Francine empty nest syndrome, she tries to convince Stan to have another baby. Meanwhile, Roger tries to enroll in college with Hayley in order to experience college life, but while Roger ends up teaching the class, Hayley finds a new crush in her classmate Ethan, who turns out to be far from normal.

    Overall a 10 out of 10

Francine doesn't like Steve getting older, especially when he starts spending time with his new girlfriend. She attempts to get pregnant so she can still be a mommy. Stan does everything he can to make sure she doesn't get pregnant again. Will she? Or will she realize Steve NEEDS to grow up?

Pretty good. Roger's college professor plot bored me, which is a first for Roger, but the main plot was pretty good and well-written. The ending of the episode was also pretty funny, or at least I thought it was. Final grade would be a B+ because Roger's plot, like I said, bored me a little.

"You're right and I'm wrong and there is nothing suspicious about that."

While not the best episode of the series, this is still a far superior show to Family Guy. The dry, witty remarks made by Stan throughout the episode are unmatched by any character in cartoons today. Roger, who is often annoying, was on in this episode and the rip-off of Stewie Griffin was almost as good at Stan. I'm glad that Klaus didn't have a big role in this installment, as he is often very irritating. "Not eating isn't gonna bring him back." It's witty lines like that, ad classic segments where Stan kept saying "my" are what makes this show great.
  • "American Dad" chalks up another good episode. :!:

Even though this show has gotten two reviews from me, I still don't feel comfortable making this show a favorite of mine. But the plot was really good, so that speaks for something! Francine has to come to terms with the fact that Steve's growing up and isn't the young baby he used to be. But for Francine, this means she has to compete with Steve's girlfriend Debbie and needless to say, Francine isn't taking it very well. Since Francine's unable to get Steve to relate to her the way he used to, Francine decides she Needs to have another child, but Stan isn't willing to risk putting his future, happy, childfree life at risk just to satisfy Francine's own urge to still be a mother to young children. But Francine proves to be very crafty and tricky. So Stan decides to take a precaution, and makes it so Francine Can't get any more children out of him even if she wants to! But Francine isn't giving up, she's determined that someway, she'll get another child even if she has to break into the Government storage Sperm bank and steal the potential children seeds Stan deposited there! When Stan realizes he can't change Francine's mind for her, Stan points out to her that Francine's just doing what all mothers are meant to do: they bring child/ren into the world, they raise them for about 18+ years, and then they go off on their own because that's what they're meant to do. So Francine decides she doesn't need anymore children after all. But old habits prove hard to break when Steve's girlfriend 'dumps' him (I sense Francine's involvement some way) and Francine goes back to creepily moddlecoddlying Steve! The B story was also pretty good, as Roger takes a page from "Dead Poets Society" and becomes a Professor, getting Hayley's boyfriend Ethan to notice her, which may not be a good thing once Hayley discovers how crazy Ethan is! Overall, this is a good show and with just a few small tweaks, it could be perfect to! Enough said! ;)
  • Vasectomies and Colleges.

Both plots of this episode are hilarious, with Stan getting a vasectomy and Roger influencing a very insane college student.

Steve growing too old for Francine is quite funny when it comes to Francine going to extremes to get Stan’s sperm, in a very disturbing scene until it reveals that the room isn’t what it appears to be, and sets up the cow moral at the end. The plot is very funny with Stan’s safe sex technique and Francine still not wanting to lose Steve.

Roger and Hailey with the college student is an equally entertaining plot with Roger lying his way through classes and the messages he sends taking on a very insane student who kills his father, with many funny moments aswell.

Both plots are great and provide plenty of laughs aswell as a break-up and a squirrel sharpener.
  • A very funny and entertaining episode of American Dad

Francine wanting another child, Hayley and Roger go to college, Stan gets a vasectomy and Steve gains independance from his mother.

I thought the first bit with Debbie was so funny and Stan not liking her and making fat jokes and Francine thinking she was fine, then the situation changing. Roger teaches a class at college much to Hayley's disappoval until Roger sets them up with Ethan. But then to realise he is crazy.

In the end it was a very funny episode and hope that American Dad continue making funny and different episodes
  • Smart, but wacky!

Another good "American Dad" episode finds Francie wanting another child, while Roger and Hayley go to college. Roger ended up teaching while the two made friends with Ethan, a whack-job student. These two stories teaches us the responibilty of college and the other is Francie's noticing an empty nest is yearning for another baby, over the objection of Stan. those two stories work quite well. I like to a lot and going to give the episode 7.0. I could've have give it a higher rating like a 7.5, but i had a few problems. but 7.0 is good. Not very good, but good.
