  • Very Good, but a bit confusing

I enjoyed Stan's and Francine's pranks, and I enjoyed Steve's struggle to become a cool kid. But nearly everything to do with the cabbage, while very minor, was confusing enough to detract from the episode. This episode aired in April, not around Yom Kippur. Perhaps this episode was originally supposed to air in September or October. But there's little excuse for the "freezing rain." It was just plain rain, and no one in the episode was ever dressed for temperatures that would allow freezing rain. Why would plain rain ruin the cabbage? And what was up with the talking cabbage? Better question yet, what was up with those rabbits at the end of the episode? That wasn't funny; it was weird!

Okay, I'm complaining a lot about a minor thing in an otherwise great episode. Give it a watch, and if you've already seen it, it's probably worth watching again.

When Steve has trouble crossing over into the "cool kids" social circle, Klaus and Roger place their bets to see how quickly Roger can make him cool. Everything they try backfires until Steve becomes the in-crowds designated driver. Meanwhile, Stan and Francine take turns pranking each other.

  • Superb episode of "American Dad"

I thought that this was a superb episode of "American Dad". I thought the plot to this episode was well written and it some pretty funny scenes. Klaus bets Roger that he can't make Steve look cool. Stan and Francine are pranking each other. The only thing I didn't like about this episode was when Steve punched that girl at school. I thought it was hilarious when Stan kept pranking Francine. It was also hilarious when Francine got payback on Stan and kept pranking him. I thought Klaus betting Roger a dollar was very funny. I thought Roger trying to make Steve cool at school was very funny except for the part when Steve punched that girl. I thought it was funny when Steve borrowed that tractor to look cool and gives everyone a ride. Roger was hilarious as he always is in every episode (most of the time). I also thought it was funny when Stan was scared of what Francine's next prank was. It was funny when Stan and Francine crashed a neighbor's garage and then a neighbor named David said "Hi, I'm David, I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to say that this isn't going to work out". I predicted that Stan would have a surprise for Francine inside the Chinese food but it was funny. Overall, could have improved just a little more but it was a superb episode. 9/10

The latest episode of American Dad was kind of funny, but I would be hard pressed to call this a particularly strong episode of the show. There were some funny gags, the always amusing shots at the Jewish religion (as a Jewish person I am not offended by it) and some outrageous moments from Stan. The thing is that the plots had a lot of holes in them. A tractor making someone homeless? Although Steve saying, "We'll have to agree to disagree in response to that," was funny.

American Dad will always be entertaining and I enjoyed tonight's show, but not one of the season's best.

Roger and Klaus make a bet to see if Roger can transform Steve into one of the cool kids at school. Who will win?

Francine and Stan keep playing pranks on each other, but will the pranks end up going too far?

Pretty good episode. It isn't one of the best of the series or anything but it was an enjoyable way to spend a half hour. I loved the ending, and I also thought various parts were funny, like that guy talking about his secret, that kid talking about how bad his diabetes is (which was cruel but it was kind of funny), the principal hitting Steve after he hit that girl, etc. Pretty good episode, B+ as a grade
