  • Boring in some parts but superb to watch

I thought that this was a superb episode of "American Dad". I thought that it could've been a little better and could've made it a little more funnier but it was overall superb. The plot seemed more interesting. I don't think I have any memorable laughs in this episode. I think I mainly laughed at the subplot with Roger at Haley's art class painting her nude. Steve using Haley's painting was hilarious in this episode. I thought Stan being the meter made after punching that meter made was very interesting. Stan stealing all of those coins to buy the nice things for the house was very funny as well. Some of the parts in this episode could have been better and it was boring at some parts. The restaurant scene with Stan and Francine was pretty funny though. Stan and Francine trying to hide all those coins was pretty funny as well. It was also good that Stan completed his community service hours. The only thing I didn't like besides some parts being boring was Francine calling Stan a "nobody"... she should be happy for who Stan is. Overall, a superb episode of "American Dad". 9/10

What I liked: Haley posing in the nude, Steve taking the picture and doing his business to it, Stan intimidating people for things he wants, the picture of Haley being ripped and Steve realizing it was Haley, amongst other things.

I thought it was wrong and it really bugged me when Francine complained about being married to a nobody. Stan is a CIA operative, whereas Francine is a housewife… which one of those sounds like a 'nobody', if either of them was a nobody? But the rest of the episode was pretty good. Solid B+/A- as my final grade, I think is fair.
  • Stan does community service.

This episode is one of the funniest episodes ever, with Stan as a meter maid and things quickly getting out of hand. It was plotted very well, with hilarious references to Stan being a nobody and becoming a meter maid got him respect via blackmailing, and later bribery once he starts stealing from the meters.

Hayley posing nude is also a hilarious storyline, with Steve, Roger and Hayley all having hilarious moments as both storylines merge together, and life goes back to normal, with Stan's boring life full of explosions and hostages, rather than the full entertaining life of tickets and quarters.
  • Good, but not as good as the season premier.

Not bad, but not as good as the season premier is all.
  • Stan becomes a Meter Maid

This episode started with a reflective Stan driving a body in this car boot to some location. He was reflective on apparently the fact he is a nobody.

We then go back a little to see what his issue is. It follows that Stan becomes a meter maid having been ordered by a court to do so for 2 weeks. Whilst in this position he suddenly realises he wields a strange power to persuade others with meter maid style threats. He also uses the money from the meters to give Francine everything she wants.

Meanwhile Hailey poses nude for an art class which is also attended by Roger. The resulting nude painting (Lot 247: Headless Naked Whore) becomes the object of Steve's lust (note the headless part!) and Hayley too, who wants it back so she can destroy it. I actually found this story funnier than the main meter maid one and it offered up quite a few funny moments.

Overall the episode was fairly average. There were laughs but it certainly wasn't a classic episode.
  • A classic parody which actually works

American Dad is a poor man's Family Guy. Occasionally though they get it right. The combination of the insanely house-proud wife, the demented alien, horny teenager, feminist, and of course Stan, can work wonders on a relatively simple story-line. This week's episode is the classic corrupt-cop one where Stan becomes a meter-maid but quickly learns to abuse his power. Alternately Roger paints Haley nude which Steve accidentally uses for less than savory purposes. Though not overly heavy on jokes, the episode is genuinely funny; the classic internal monologue is used to great effect. This episode breaks with the tradition of its predecessors and contemporaries in being well written and though its characters are unable to develop, their level provides decent amusement throughout.
  • It was a great episode with it entailing of Goodfellas and The Shield together. Great

Stan, who usually is a member of the CIA,got stuck as a metor maid. Writinhg tickets and droping coins into his pocket. It opend up a door of riches for the family. Meanwhile, Haley took off her clothes to pose nude and roger's there to paint and to put the painting on the auction block. This is a far better episode than last week's episode when a compelling character was killed shortly after the introduction. This week's episode is better, much better. Ilike the plot. Stan becomes a meter man and makes all the money from the meters. Very funny stuff indeed.

Making an episode and storyline out of a "Meter Maid" sounds completely stupid, but how this is written turns it into a rather funny episode. Part of the episode is really, really creepy and if you watch the episode you'll find out what I mean and the part about the daughter posing nude isn't exactly what I'm refering too, but that has to do with the general idea of it. Actually just that should give you enough clues to figure out that part. I'll be quite now about that general part in the episode. "The Parade of Homes" is a really silly idea, but the fact that there's a house 6 1/2 makes me laugh.
