overall a perfect episode, but Steve's plot was a lot better. so this one gets a ten out of ten

What I liked: Snot's real name being revealed, Snot on the back of the door, "I can feel your heart beat", Stan saving Roger's life, amongst a few other things.

Good episode. It started off strong, but the main plot got a little boring near the end. Luckily the sub plot, with Steve and Snot, did not get boring and had me laughing pretty much every scene. B+/A- as my final grademoreless
  • Good morning USA.

    7.3
This is an extreme rarity, but I actually enjoyed Family Guy more than American Dad tonight. Like I said, this almost never happens as this was still a solid episode of AD, but FG just had a series classic (by new episode standards) that was nearly impossible to top.

As usual Stan stole the show, but there were some other entertaining gags such as the dancing guy (who went on to become the Dancing Dictator) and some others such as going hiking in a deviant outfit.

American Dad is sometimes too smart for its own good and that is why dumbed down humor like Family Guy offers could be more enjoyable.moreless
  • good review, but don't forget about the other characters

    7.5
I agree with Lance2000. This was a good episode, but don't fall into the trap of focusing only on Stan, Roger, and Steve. It'll get boring fast. Don't leave out Haylee and Klaus. The best Haylee episode was Haylias, and I'm not sure if there was a good Klaus episode. I think good character interaction is important. The show should follow episodes like 'Vacation Goo' which has good interaction among the entire main cast. I'm not advocating against stories focusing on one or two character, just don't make too much of them. The majority of the season episodes have a good balance and it is one of the main things I like about the show compared to Family Guy which mainly focuses on Peter, Stewie, Brian and sometimes Chris. I got tired of FG two seasons ago and this was one of the reasons.moreless
  • American dad's second episode of season 5 was good but...

    8.0
American dads second episode was pretty good but it felt again like a rinse, lather, repeat episode to me or at least Stan and Rogers story. Stan keeps taking advantage of Roger and then trouble ensues. Then roger gets fed up with Stan doing this and doesn't want to bother but then Stan tricks him to go his way blah blah blah Stan learns a lesson. Steve's story was a nice one between snot and him but a little bit silly and the ending was very unsatisfying between them. It doesn't compare to the one where they are competing for the old lady's love. Klaus only had one word in the episode again same with Haily and Francine. This is he second episode in a row that was only about Stan, Roger, and Steve. Come on give us some of the other characters!moreless
