Overall, a good episode, but Stan was unfair in this one.

Stan's Mom is dumped again. So she comes to live with the Smiths' for a while. Roger and Francine wonder how she gets dumped so often and find out she is getting rids of them, only to actually find out it is not she who is getting rid of the men, but Stan.

Good episode. I liked the end to act 2 and I liked Stan realizing he has to stop getting rid of people for his mom. Good conflict. Not one of the better episodes of the series, some of it bored me, especially in the beginning, but it was a nice episode overall, and so because of all of this my final grade is a B-.moreless

In the end it was good, but it was not the shining star of the season that will be remembered as a series classic...moreless

Stan's mother is in a bad releationship with men that she said she was dumped. Francie and Roger went undercover to find out why. And they and you will be shocked. And Steve has come down with the ick, being given by Klaus. Klaus is such a good fish, talking on the phone and looking for love. Now he's got the ick and is given to stevie. Ick is something of spots forming all over your bady. When you got the ick, you got spots. It could be a great episode. I better give that episode a 7. Please aviod the ick.moreless

    • It is mentioned in this episode that Roger is going to be sober this month and that it is his white month, however Roger goes back to drinking after seeing Stan wash his mother in the tub. Edit
    • Hayley appeared twice in this episode (once when Steve and Hayley check if Betty is still crying and again after Klaus yells at Steve) and only had one speaking part (when she's comforting Klaus and wonders if fish are susceptible to catching herpes). Edit
    • In the DVD commentary for the season one episode "A Smith in the Hand," there was a mention of having an American Dad episode where Stan is attached to his mother in an almost sexual way (with Francine being jealous). Edit

    • Klaus: (on the phone, ordering a hooker) Yes, about 6 foot, blond, stacked, not afraid to get down with a fish. Oh, and this is very important; she must be nine months pregnant. (hears a hangup click) Hello? Edit
    • Stan: Francine, my mother is not manipulating me. Our relationship is completely normal. And if you keep upsetting me, then I'll have to retreat to my safe place between her breasts. Edit
    • Stan: Francine, my mother's very vulnerable right now. Every guy she goes out with dumps her on the third date, and why wouldn't they? She's all dried up. Her uterus is an abandoned theater. Nothing in there but old playbills and memories. Some say there's a phantom that only comes out at night. (Stan's mom starts crying) Stan: Don't be scared. It's just a legend. Edit
