The Stan Frank nickname had me dying and I am still laughing thinking about it right now as I write this review.

Another great episode of American Dad here and one that really showed why this is one of the best animated programs of all-time. You had a lot of great jokes here, some funny gag humor too during the free run, but you also had a good moral where the viewer realized that it is best not to change who they are to impress anyone else.

But enough about that stuff, more on how hilarious this episode was. If you did not laugh during Stan repeatedly telling Francine to "reel it in" I don't know what will get you.moreless
  • stan and francine get friends

Ive been using 2 acounts for my reviews my other one was damonster0004 but im not going to be using it anymore ill just use this one tacoman771 so I guess itll just be me and the fan of that are doing american dad reviews. Anyway this was a great episode of american dad the main plot to this episode was about stan and francine meeting a couple to hang out with, the smaller plot was about steve, klaus and roger getting a cotton candy gun but it doesnt work. This was a very funny episode both plots had plents of laughs.moreless
  • I know I keep asking it. .

I know I keep asking this, but why does American Dad arguably get better and better (in my eyes) and at least maintains a high quality, while the other shows in the group (family guy and cleveland show) manage to get worse and worse by the week?

Anyway, this weeks episode takes a pretty skewed look at a midlife crisis scenario for Stan and Fran when they befriend a young couple with more energy than sense. Some great material again this week, and some genuinely funny moments all padded out with a great side story involving Roger and Steve. (and that fish ^_^) Another solid episode to a solid season. Long may it continue.moreless
  • American Dad is still going strong!

    9.0
There's an art to sick humor and American Dad still has what it takes to put me on the floor with tears in my eyes. The compound fracture of the shin bit made me wince a little, but it's all part of the perverse pleasure of watching this show. One of the most unique takes on mid life crisis I've seen in quite some time...who but a CIA agent would think of putting marshmallow fluff in your spermicide. And say...I WANT one of those cotton candy shooters,,,hey, the next time I catch one of those low rent hillbilly neighbor kids vandalizing my house, I can shoot a cloud of the stuff around his little knobby head and kick his butt at my leisure. Ha!moreless

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Tom: Hey, Stanny Boy! Frantastic! Get up here, the view is amazing!
Stan: Did you hear that? They gave us nicknames! The only nickname I ever got was in eighth grade. They called me Stan Frank because I was always hiding and writing in my diary.

  • NOTES (2)

    • The character, Bad Larry, continues to show up in cameos inside various episodes after he was killed by Stan in "42-Year Old Virgin". He has shown up in the episodes "Tearjerker", "Love, American Dad Style" and "Widowmaker". He is seen in this episode in the audience of the show Cirque du Hey Hey Hey next to Stan and Francine.

    • Roger's opening credits disguise: Park Ranger outfit from the episode "Every Which Way But Lose"

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • The scene where Stan and Francine are free running with their new friends is almost identical like in the movie 13th District.
